My Tiffa Challenge Abyssal of the former Night Caste ;p. Here is his starting character Crunch Sheet but at the end I will throw in some possible extrapolations if you want to use him as an NPC in your campaign. Please tell me if you do, I like to here the exploits of my brainchildren, even it is an ignomious death. ;)

For years the forest god Auburn Majesty had organized his entire court against the Deathlord menace. Spirits and elementals of all kinds were sent out in guerilla warfare against zombie columns and he aided any nation standing against the shadowlands. He was an impressively stout and imposing humanoid of wood but not nearly as towering as many of his Forest Walker counterparts. Upon his head a wreath laurels sat to denote a recent victory he had just had.

Suddenly someone walked into his court, a haggard looking figure with a pallid complexion but not quite the alabaster of some of the Deathknights he had seen. On one side of the court of Auburn Majesty was a well armoured bear elemental who was suddenly dispatched with a massive, spartan, onyx handled knife that appeared lodged in his neck. With a forceful kata the man infront of himself stared down Auburn Majesty and pronouced, "Winter comes."

The next day another forest was taken over by the Mask of Winters.....

History-Arborescent Joy was a very happy child that lived an idyllic life in the East. He was part of a servant family that worked in a local shrine for the gods. It was a herditary assignment that involved much interaction with the spirtual realm. Joy talked with elementals and little gods of all types in his youth and gave them the proper rites. From his hand came many well written odes to the various little gods of the region and all was well.

That was until a new court took up residence in his shrine. He was merely a teen when they came in all rage and fury after being kicked out of their old court by unknown forces. A motely panalopy of war and other violent gods they booted his former friends out forcefully and enslaved his family to serve as their slaves.

It was at this time that Joy became sneaky, a prisoner in his own home he became a master of slipping about unseen even by the ephemereal elementals posted around his shrine. One time he was caught sneaking out to have a night of fun a local town when he was caught by Flowered Rain of Death, a very specific god of massed archery with Eastern bows made from Oak trees. In the spirtual hierarcy he may be low, but he was certainly powerful to beat the shit out of Joy and force him into his service as a quasi-spy as "penance"

After only 2 of these "missions" he Exalted on his own with no violence forcing the Sun's hand. He was simply scouting out the shrine of a rival archery god when the Sun told him to break free from his bondage and help others do the same. This he did, and was suddenly left on his own. Most confused. Joy had a slave like demeanor from youth, due to his years of servitude and now knew not what to do.

For years he wandered about aimlessly serving in the various entourage of spirits until he was seized by the realization that he was more powerful than the beings he was serving and broke free. A chronic addict to submission, he kept finding new masters but none of them worked. All the while he became more and more sick of the politicking he saw amongst every person he pledged his service.

Then he met Mask of Winters, the wily Deathlord had smelt the dissatifaction in the Night caste's soul and reeled him in with one of Deathlords. Inititally he was disguisted by his offer to join him, Joy recoiled as many of the Children of Sun will. Then he was not tortured, he was simply shown the recent happenings in the various courts he had served. All had sordid affairs to be revealed to their former employee who found himself tired of it all, he wanted it to end.

Mask of Winters had a way to make it all end. Joy traded in his destiny and his name for a chance to end it all and serve a master worthy of his services. The new Day caste had one job, hunt down spirtual enemies to Winters in both the Underworld and Creation. This he did with much relish, whatever his master bid.

Possible Extrapolations-To make him more powerful, I view him as going up the Hungry Ghost style tree pretty fast as it is useful for hunting down spirits. In order of prefrence for advancement I think charms would go something like A-Hungry Ghost, B-Occult, C-Thrown, D-Athletics and then the other skills are all about equal after that.

Some possible combos I like include
Unnatural Shambling Deftness/Shrouded Claw Attack-Simple multi-attack that the enemy can't defend from that well
Lunging Phantom Method/Corpus-Rending Blow(Or Soul-Eating Strike)-Probally good enough to deal with most lowish-mid level spirits

I will add more if I feel inspired. Or you can ask me if you are intent on using him powered up and I havn't provided enough for you.
