-from the notes of Hidden Crystal, Chosen of Endings, assigned to the Directional Convention of Water-
[in delicate, neat script in Old Realm]

On the general situation at hand:
Someone high-up in the Gold Faction, or several someones, helped the Silver Prince find the Jade Prison and crack it open. Red Stone Rising had been Gold as well, though he'd just entered the faction when the Solars had come back. At least one of his Circlemates, Blossom of Cerulean Fluttering, had been Gold as well: Sorrowful North had been of the Bronze.

Among others who would want to see the Solars return, other then the Gold Faction (obviously), would be Lytek, Right Hand of Power, to regain the lost power as well as the office that he lost when the Solars were murdered.

The fabric of the West is unraveling, as the Tapestry is unstable and fragile. The return of the Solars increases the amount of Essence expenditure, past the breaking point, as the Five-Fold Symmetry of Creation is disrupted by the breaking of the Mask at the end of the First Age. If this continues, Creation will come apart, Ending, and playing right into the hands of the Deathlords.

The Deathlords would only likely cooperate if the Gold provided some kind of incentive, such as one of their own, or potentially more Solar shards from the prison, or a later opportunity to experiment on Sidereal shards in the same manner, or all of the above.

...to be updated when more is found out.

On that absolutely irritating vision:
This vision first came when I looked into the Loom some time ago, the night I spoke with the informant, and it was only a glimpse of something. Of something that seemed first to be Exalts, but not Exalts in fact, but machines. *Living* machines. Some kind of diagram. A glowing hand. Nothing that made any sense at all.

It was clearer the second time I looked, a week later. I was surrounded by a maze of metal, of technical diagrams, of ones and zeroes and engineering arcana and lore. Schematics for essence machines of limitless complexity, *living* machines like the ones I saw in that first glimpse. But it was too much for my mind to handle, and I fainted. Woke up with a horrible headache and a nosebleed. I’m not looking into the Loom for some time, that’s for sure.
There is something strange with those diagrams, with the technology found in the entire vision. It is much more advanced then anything that this Age of the world has produced, more ancient by far, technology that could only have been created in the First Age, and yet I do not recognize them, do not remember them.

The most disturbing thing is that the last impression I had before I blacked out…it may have been a face, or just an impression. But…I had the impression that it may have been brother Jiang.
