- Vow of Poverty, The Dragon-Blooded has sworn not to own anything- she may not take the Artefact, Manse or Resources background or any other backgrounds that imply outright ownership without breaking her vow.

- Diet Restriction, The Dragon-Blooded must consume only rice, bread, vegetables, tea and water- any indulgence beyond this breaks the Diet Restriction.

- Oath of Celibacy, The Dragon-Blooded has sworn a vow of utter celibacy- any consensual sex act breaks the oath.

- Balance of Virtue, The Dragon-Blooded maintains a spiritual balance with each of the four virtues- she must have all of these rated at 3+ while nothing short of Ravishment or spirit charms can offset the balance of virtue, it can represent a constant inconvenience.
