Secret Pirate Island
This is the volcanic Island that the PCs stole and are currently using as their secret base.
Island
While the Volcano takes up most of the area of the island, there is still a fair amount of quite fertile shoreline. In addition to the native trees, there is an apple orcherd and a few recently added lemon trees. In a semi-hidden cove is a well construced docking area for three ships. A path leads up from there, though the trees, to a cave in the side of the mountain. This opening is the front door of the manse.
Manse
The manse is deceptive. The only part that appears above ground is the main entrance. The main entrance is a large arch that was carved out of the surounding rockface. The arch has a number of Old Realm characters carved into it, leading up to a complex symbol at the top.
Through the arch the manse complex is revealed to be a network of lava tubes and bubble like caverns. The walls are formed out of the volcanic obsidian. The small veins of red jade that flow though the surrounding rock give off a reddish light from beind the obsidian glass. The light coupled with the above average temperature gives a feeling of opressive heat to anyone inside the manse.
While the normal rooms (galley, meeting hall, living quarters, etc.) are all present, the only room that really desrves much detail is the captain's quarters which has a large door with a First Age lock on it. Though the door is the Hearthroom of the manse. It was consucted on a large extrusion of rock that hangs out over the main magma chamber of the volcano. There is a dais or red jade formed into a replica of the volcano. Should the hearthstone ever be destroyed, a new one will erupt out of the model volcano after the requite time period has passed. As the previous captain used this as his treasure room, there is a fair amount of gold and silver in the shelves that were built into the walls. Closer examination, however, reveals that this room may have been used by ancient solars to refine orichalcum from gold, and could theoretically be returned to that purpose.
Inhabitants
The current inhabitance of the island are all extras. There are 100 in all. A list of the named ones follows: Pretty Bridget, Keigo, Chisru, Tatske, Mesurio, Crazy Tony, Yobrath Vutch, Dead Jim (skeleton), Lucky Pete, Kaden (mute guy, has parrot), Elisabeth (guy sentanced to wear a duck suit and only make quacking noises for sending the PCs on a wyld goose chase)
