| − | Overall, Kalyna Petra is a pretty young woman, in her early 20's, and has had men argue over her in the past. She stands a little taller than is usual for a woman, with a lithe build. She carries herself with grace and nimbleness, and what she lacks in strength she makes up for in raw nerve. In Whitewall, her refusal of her father's attempts to marry her off earned her a hard-to-get reputation, and many men attempted to woo her for little more than the right to say that they did so.

| − | Kalyna Petra is the eldest daughter and the 3rd child of Ajuolas Petra, a wealthy and influential merchant from the city of Whitewall. He groomed Kalyna her whole life for marriage, allowing her to learn only what she needed to be a wife, and to spend time only with other girls. Ajuolas, for all his chauvanism and his emotional distance from his daughter, <i>did</i> honestly care about her, and merely wanted her to have a best life a woman deserved: that of marriage and family.

After doing so for years and not getting caught, she decided one day to sneak out and go mingle with the people of the city.</p>

The lynx watched her as she struggled and made herself a fire, then it sat down and watched her as she warmed herself by it.</p>

River is willing to give a lot of assistance when it comes to Whitewall and the surrounding area, but is pretty much useless outside of her zone of influence. Kalyna doesn't even know the name of her other Ally, a Lunar who she met after the fixing of her tattoos. He doesn't even really ever talk to her, save for a few words here and there, but if something good happens to her with other Lunars, he's usually connected.
