The Nine Magical Materials
In the High First Age, smiths and savants catalogued the wonders of Five Magical Materials. These five and their traits are well known throughout Creation, and their properties are logged in Oadenal's Codex. However, in the time since the Usurpation, other Magical Materials have been discovered. Some are more commonly known that others, some are well known but not widely considered equal to the Five, and some are only known by the first pair of eyes that saw them.
The Five
Here is a brief overview of the properties of the Five Magical Materials known in the First Age. For more information, see the Exalted Core Book and Oadenal's Codex.
