One With the Spear Technique

Cost: 18 motes, 2 Willpower
Duration: One Scene
<b?Type:</b> Simple
Minimum Thrown: 5
Minimum Essence: 5
Prerequisite Charms: Solar Hailstorm Attack, Delayed Elimination Prana

Focusing on his weapons and infusing them with the power of the Unconquered Sun, the Solar readies himself to bring justice to the enemies of the Deliberative by making his attacks fly straight and true. For the remainder of the scene, the character suffers no penalties for range; so long as he can see the target, he can hit him. Additionally, he adds his Essence in automatic successes to all Thrown attacks and adds his Essence to the damage rating of his attacks.

Chakram-Summoning Meditation

Cost: 6 motes, 1 Willpower
Duration: One Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Thrown: 5
Minimum Essence: 4
Prerequisite Charms: Whirling Razor Guardian Technique, Returning Weapon Concentration

The Exalt summons an arsenal of weapons made from pure Essence. For the remainder of the scene, the Solar need not worry about ammunition due to the Essence chakrams he can summon. These chakrams have an Accuracy bonus and Damage rating of the character’s Essence.

Delayed Elimination Prana

Cost: 12 motes, 1 Willpower
Duration: Instant
Type: Simple
Minimum Thrown: 5
Minimum Essence: 4
Prerequisite Charms: Chakram-Summoning Meditation

Silently, and from a distance, the character fires a bolt of pure Essence into a subject that will not harm her target immediately. The character makes a normal Thrown attack at standard difficulty. If the target is unalarmed, the target must make a Perception + Awareness roll at difficulty 4 to notice the bolt of Essence as it enters his body. Anyone else guarding the target must make this same roll to notice the almost invisible bolt of Essence. The character who launched the attack may then make a getaway; in ten minutes, the bolt of Essence will explode, potentially killing the target. The bolt used in this attack has both Accuracy and Damage equal to the character’s Essence.

This Charm was a favorite assassination method of First Age Night Castes, allowing a character with the proper Athletics Charms to be miles away and unsuspected before her target dies.

Eradication Strike

Cost: 12 motes, 1 Willpower
Duration: Instant
Type: Simple
Minimum Thrown: 5
Minimum Essence: 5
Prerequisite Charms: Solar Hailstorm Attack, Delayed Elimination Prana

The Solar fires a single Chakram of Essence at his opponent that is fused with the power of the Sun, striking down even the mightiest foes. Eradication Strike has a base Accuracy and Damage equal to twice the attacking character’s Essence. Additionally, it may not be blocked. Furthermore, all damage dice from Eradication Strike are converted into automatic health levels of damage.
