Golden Oscillation Overdriver</b>

This Charm consists of several orichalcum plates and shards introduced at strategic chakra points, nerve clusters, and bone masses within the Alchemical's body.

Upon activating the Charm, the Alchemical's peripheral Essence pool begins to drain out. She loses her Essence in motes of peripheral Essence each turn, for ten turns. The Charm channels this Essence into a holistic pattern of enhancement and amplification, drastically improving the character's capabilities for a short amount of time. The Overdriver has the following mechanical effects for the duration:

  • The character's natural Strength and Stamina attributes double. This is considered a Charm increase.
  • The character's speed and jumping rates double. This includes ground movement, flight, jumping distance, and any other form of natural or Charm-provided movement. It explicitly does not increase the speed of effects provided by sorcery or protocol weaving.
  • The character's base initiative is increased by her permanent Essence.
  • The character's natural soak against all attacks (bashing, lethal, or aggravated) increases by her permanent Essence.
  • Every turn, the character must soak a single die of bashing damage, using only her natural soak.

At the end of this time, the Alchemical is left tired, shaken and drained. However, while the Charm is in operation, she has more than ample power to either defeat or evade her opponents.
