The dawn anima works on mortals only ... as follows.

If you fail your valor check, you run. If you succed, you are "only" at -2 dice.

-The terrible glory of the Dawn Caste anima renders adversaries unable to look directly at the Solar.  All present roll Valor.
-If you succeed, you are at -2 dice penalties to attack the Dawn or defend against the Dawn's attacks.
-If you fail, you flee in terror.
-If you botch and are an important character, you surrender or otherwise unequivocally yield to the Dawn's authority.  If you are an extra or other inconsequential character, you switch allegiance and immediately join the Dawn's cause, and are thereafter loyal to them.
