Ooo, missed this. Resentment. I imagine an unExalted child of the Realm really feels a seething hatred for her brothers, sisters, parents, etc that are Exalted and are magically better then everyone else (True, they *are* better then everyone else). Either that or they accept their life of luxury. Whichever! But she just hates the whole institution, and now that she IS better, she wants to lord it over them, like they did to her. -Rutee | Ooo, missed this. Resentment. Backstory
Formerly Tepet Inami; Was unExalted and shunted aside until she introduced a clever scheme to develop businesses in the North. She convinced her father, who parted with the seed money.. then never saw it again. She actually ran to the wide plains of the South East, and used the seed money to buy a failing ranch, which she planned to turn around, as riding had been one of her favorite things to do, and she had learned every step that went into the process of raising creatures.
Resources are from her very successful ranch, Auspicious Garden of the East, deceptively located in the southeast, on the borders of a forest. Her Contacts and Influence are similarly derived; The Contacts are a combination supplier and broker who goes by the name Aldo, and a ship captain named Gilgamesh, who keeps her apprised of goings-on around the world; After all, if one is to expand and diversify, they need to know everything they can. The community, while not tiny, is small enough to not usually draw too much attention from the Realm. However, that also means that she tends to have to range farther for more exotic feeds and to explore new opportunities. The 'servants' detailed in the Resources section are actually hands on the Ranch, with the exception of her cook, Hop Sing. The Ranch does breed horses, but also, it's claim to fame, is that it also raises more... exotic animals then horses, camels, and yeddim. The most popular are tigers, which do tend to require more then just an investment of money on the part of the client, but also time; She must acclimate the tigers to her client and everyone they intend to have handle the animals; While her tigers are well enough trained not to savage anything without an order to, they will pounce, bare their fangs, and scare the everliving hell out of an intruder. Other popular picks are Austrechs, for an emergency dispatch's mounts, and Raitons, for pets or exotic hunt companions.
Within the small community of Six Plains, she holds great sway, due to her riches and the favors she's curried with the locals. No one speaks ill of her within the town without her at least hearing of it. It is widely believed that she is the brilliant and gifted daughter of an unknown, small-time breeder, and due to her incredible skill, has expanded her business into an easily recognized name throughout the region.
Her familiar is actually the tiger which she first learned and perfected her taming techniques with, and is one of 5 she keeps for her own use; Said animals are used for security purposes. Approaching her ranch from anything other then the road in is a sure way to sound an alarm; Should a foolhardy thief manage to kill the Tiger, it will at least make more then enough noise to alert the security staff and Lion herself.
Appearance
Generally, she dresses in a very stylish black suit with white frilly sleeves from an undershirt that curl back and overtake the sleeves of the buttoned on jacket; The shoes she wears with this ensemble are actually plain and similarly black, so as not to detract from the rest of the look. Her brownish-red hair is usually kept in a bun with this, and the maid she calls over to help fix her hair is the only help she accepts in dressing herself in the morning
Similarly, when she has to work in the wild, she dresses in somewhat more practical attire, better suited for the work at hand. Gone are the formal slacks, replaced with much freer clothing based on what Haltans wear; The pants are replaced with an extremely short pair of yellow shorts, only barely coverring her thighs, simultaneously freeing and exposing her well-toned legs, while black leather straps tie a brown leather knife sheath in place. The jacket and shirt are stood-in for by a form-fitting top that leaves her tight stomach bare, as well as a pair of brown leather gloves on her hands. The black shoes are replaced with leather ones, the same color as her gloves. A blue headband completes the look, and it's tied under her hair, which she elects to leave loose.
Personality/Goals
In general, she's actually quite the showman, and very competitive.
Her deepest, and least immediate, wish to prove her own inherent superiority to the Dragon-Blooded. On a grander scale, she wishes to use that superiority, not just of herself, but of the Anathema in general, to tear down the Realm.
