Chapter 1 analysis: "Welcome Home."
- This chapter will include all the startling changes from the First, Golden Age, to the second, Age of Sorrows. Our 'heroes' know nothing about this age, and are lost and somewhat confused by the turn around in the hierarchy. They are welcomed and almost to the point of worshiped by these back-water almost barbarian people. Among who is the other Solar Exalted, River Scarab of the Zenith Caste. River Scarab will be the 'heroes' guide to this world. Returning to her former life post as their mentor. She explains to them the gist of the Usrerpation, and let's them down easy that they are now as Demonized as the Primordials once were. The 'heroes' will have already guessed/known that creation has shrunk, but they will come to realize that the Wyld is a much deadlier foe than they would remember or think. In this chapter out 'heroes' will come across and probably repell the Wyld Hunt's first attempt on their lives. They will see their Dragon-Blooded soliers not as their exalted henchmen anymore, but now as "Princes of the Earth" and rulers of Creation. This chapter ends with River Scarab intoducing them to her "trusted advisor" (A Sidereal chosen of Journeys) He tells them that they are not safe here, and to stay would only bring more heartache and suffering to the people who have taken them in. He offers to take them elsewhere to further their destenies.
Chapter 2 analysis: "Lost Brother"
- This chapter begins a few months later near the city of Nexus. Only hours travel away, our 'heroes' have been traveling for some time with this "trusted advisor" to this demanse. They have set up temporary lodgings here and discuss their furture when they are inturrupted by an unknown attacker. In the near distance an archer rains arrows on them. If any are an archer they will see, or can tell it's just like Arrow Storm, but it is unholy, unnatural. And soon they are beset by a small grouping of walking undead. In the aftermath, they turn to their "trusted advisor" to get his input and he has gone, leaving a note on a prayer strip that he will return to them when he is needed, but for now he has other things to attend to. From here, I don't know what the characters individually will do, but generally it'll likely be they try to investigate further into this "unprevoked" attack. The will soon after get an invitation to meet "The Angry Living Wanderer" in Nexus. With the message they are given 'visitor' tokens to enter the many districts of Nexus and a guarentee of safe pasage into and out of the city. They go, and there they meet him, an abyssal who claims to know them. And indeed he knows a great deal about them. He doesn't indulge too much about himself, and keeps refering to "his master" and how his master would like to meet them. And how the "powers that be" are most interested in them as well. If asked about the attack, he gets somewhat defensive and almost nervous, appologizing and saying he did it before consulting with his master.
