− | Coyote has only been a member of the Council of Entities for the last decade, but next to the Emissary he is the person most people think of when they think of the Council. Prior to joining the Council, Coyote was one of the youngest and most successful merchant princes within the Guild who somehow managed to work himself up from the streets of Nexus to the highest echelons of Nexus society. He now owns the largest manor in Upper Bastion and controls the destinies of over a thousand of the city’s citizens. On the Council of Entities his official position is as one of the Guild’s three representatives, but for the most part Coyote seems to be the public face of both the Guild and the Council. Whenever there is a problem that needs to be solved through diplomacy rather then force or forceful decree from the Emissary, Coyote is there.

− | There is no door in Upper Bastion that won’t open if he knocks, no business in Lower Bastion that won’t happily cater to his every whim and no mercenary company that won’t clear time from its schedule to sit down and hear what he has to say about a particular matter. Each week he receives invitations to every important and not so important function that occurs in Nexus as well as half a dozen outside of it. Generally he tries to at least make an appearance at the most important of these functions whenever possible. When he can’t make a particular function he still usually takes the time to have a personal meeting with whoever sent him the invitation if only as a simple thank you gesture. In person, most people describe him as a friendly guy who truly seems to listen when you’re talking to him. However, he also enjoys regaling people with stories about his own life, especially adventures he had when he was younger and working for the Guild guiding its caravans through the South.

− | While Coyote is quite skilled at swordsmanship out in public he travels in a company of his own personal bodyguards. Typically about eight or so warriors in gold and red livery armed with straight swords and slashing spears. These days he is also usually in the company of his current love interest, Cathak Siral, the Fire-Aspected captain of the mercenary company known as the Lost Dragons, a breakaway group from the Imperial Legions that were once stationed to the south.

Fifth Coyote
Description
Often just referred to as Coyote, he appears to be a handsome man in his early thirties with dark brown eyes, short black hair and a carefully trimmed mustache and beard. He has a lean athletic build and stands just under six feet tall. In public, Coyote wears a steel breastplate edged in gold decorated with a stylized canine’s head inset with ruby eyes. The same coyote heads also decorate his steel and gold bracers, belt buckle and the finely crafted straight sword he wears belted at his waist. Beneath the breastplate he wears a dark grey tunic, black pants and sturdy black leather boots. Over it he typically wears a dark blue velvet cape clasped with another golden coyote head inset with ruby eyes. In private and when attending many of the social functions around the city, he tends to wear rich blue, black or dark red robes. He often continues to keep the sword belted at his side as well as his golden bracers, but he does without the ornate breastplate.
