Currently the best idea I have is to segment the martial arts by Magical Material, as opposed to aspect. The easiest route, by my reckoning, would be to build styles based upon the strengths of the metal. I would say that, among other things, the Form type Charms of each Style would grant the user the bonuses from the appropriate Magical Material to their unarmed attacks.

Segmentation

Currently the best idea I have is to segment the martial arts by Magical Material, as opposed to aspect. The easiest route, by my reckoning, would be to build styles based upon the strengths of the metal. I would say that, among other things, the Form type Charms of each Style would grant the user the bonuses from the appropriate Magical Material to their unarmed attacks.

/JadeStyle, probably the first style any given student would learn, would empasize speed and elemental attacks.
/MoonsilverStyle would promote accuracy and versatility, probably featuring some null-damage attacks (focusing on the hit rather than the damage) with wacky side effects.
/StarmetalStyle would center on brutal efficiency, perhaps anticipating your opponents' actions ahead of time (initiative enhancements?)
/SoulsteelStyle would focus on Essence deprivation and assorted nastiness.
/OrichalcumStyle, finally, would include aspects of each of the preceding styles (perhaps requiring mastery in all four) and just generally kick a lot of ass. Maybe even being Sidereal level?

Anyway, yeah. Lots of Charms to write. ;)
