The Five Ordained Flaws of Sidereal Perfection
This is an idea for alternate Sidereal Flaws of Perfection that I got from Abyssal and Infernal flaws of perfection, the notion being that Sidereal flaws of perfection are given to them by the Maiden of Endings and that the circumstances of each of these flaws arising for the Sidereal represents an “ending” but not necessarily the Sidereal's demise.
Compassion: The Betrayal - The Sidereal’s end will come when someone she cares deeply for takes action against her either knowingly or unknowingly. The character cannot use this charm during a scene in which someone she shares a mutual intimacy with takes an action that could be considered betrayal. This Flaw is often associated with the Chosen of Serenity.
Conviction: The Pyrrhic Victory -The Sidereal’s end will come after one of her greatest triumphs, The character cannot use this charm in the scene immediately following the completion of her motivation or after a significant step towards it. This Flaw is associated with the Chosen of Secrets.
Temperance: The New Order - The Sidereal’s end will come when she knows in her heart that something she believed in is a lie, the character cannot use this charm in a scene where an intimacy is replaced by its opposite. This Flaw is associated with the Chosen of Endings.
Valour: The Defiant Stand - The Sidereal’s end will come when she faces a vastly superior opponent on their terms, the character cannot use this charm in a scene where she enters alone into combat, social combat or an opposed skill test with someone who’s relevant ability is 2 points higher than hers. This flaw is associated with the Chosen of Battles.
Willpower: The Nemesis - The Sidereal’s end will come when she faces her greatest enemy by acting in a way that causes conflict within herself, the character cannot use this charm in a scene where she has surpassed virtues or gained limit. This Flaw is associated with the Chosen of Journeys.
Notes
I don't like the existing flaws of perfection for Solars/Lunars either. Though that's mostly the Conviction flaw I take issue with.
