Deep's Infinite Understanding</b>
<b>Cost: 5 motes\\ Duration: One Scene\\ Type: Simple\\ Caste: Bottomless Depth\\ Min Essence: 1\\ Prereqs: None
The depths of the Sea of Chaos are infinite, and in their infinity they contain the possibility of all things which emerge from chaotic randomness. A fae using this charm closes her black eyes for a turn and meditates. When she opens them, she can understand the workings of chaos-shaping essence and can physically "see" how charms and sorceries work. She learns all relevant details about the charm’s function to allow her to tactically avoid its effects. (Think of "Scan" from Final Fantasy.)
For example, if Qingu casts this charm and looks at Allad, he sees Allad has a scene-length charm active (Steel Devil Style) which allows Allad free parries and counterattacks. Qingu now learns not to attack Allad hand-to-hand and plans to use “Dispel” on him the next turn.
This charm must be active to use all other charms in this tree; it's kind of like a form charm.
