− | With such a wide sweeping purge as the Ursupation, the chaos of fleeing to the Wyld and the now very seperated Lunar people it came to pass that no one noticed that a few Lunars had gone missing. Its understandable. Afterall with some lunars going deep undercover or feral or becoming Chimera there was no way to keep track of them all. So no one knew but the Sidereals that some Lunars have been locked away with their Solar spouses. Deep underwater they remained unchanged and unmarked by the centuries of time spent there. With that prisons sundering and the instuction of the beast crafted by the Deathlords to steal the shards of Solars they were suddenly freed into the world.

− | This gave Lytek pause. He had concentrated most of his efforts into research of the Great Curse but the arrival of these old Lunar shards made him take another look at the twisted natures of the Lunars alive today. Still he could only hold onto these shards for so long to study before they returned to the world. Luna as well had taken notice of this and tasked one of her favorites to aiding them. When they exalted she appeared to them as she does all her Chosen. Each got their own personal visit from her as is Luna's way compared with the Unconquered Sun or the Five Maidens but uniformly to each she also gave them enough information that when the other Lunars inevitably found them they knew enough to inform them to be brought to the one she had tasked for their mentoring.

− | The one Luna chose was the elder Lunar known as [[The_Silver_Walker]]. Powerful and respected by other Lunars he remains seperate from the politics found amongst them. Old enough to recall the ancient ways upon which a Lunar would find her own caste he willingly took to his task for Luna. This has helped to distract him from the worries he has over what to do about his own newly returned spouse. He warns them of the dangers of the Wyld and the world but does not require they submit to tattooing. Some when their training is done leave him and have never look back. Others stay close and in touch.

− | Now for the actual rules of what all this means.
| |
− | | |
− | Tattoos are not required for such Lunars. They are optional and the immunity to others using shapeshifting powers on you remains in effect if you get them. A lunar without them can still have their caste but does not get the immunity.

− | Full Moons have the same Caste Attributes and Anima Power as before. It also activates when a lunar has spent 11 or more motes of peripheral essence.
| |
− | | |
− | Waxing Moons take the normal Caste Attributes and Anima Power of the Changing Moons for themselves. These were the Priests of Luna in ancient times. Able to charm as easily as they deceived. They have the priest benifit the No Moons normally have. When the Lunar's anima is manifested they can not maintain their disguise but remain unidentifiable.

− | Half Moons are the tacticians of the Lunars of old. Ideal on the spot commanders and leaders for elite units. They take Charisma, Manipulation and Intelligence as their Caste Attributes. For 5 motes they can reduce the difficulty of a War roll by their essence. A difficulty can not go lower then to Standard Difficulty with this power. This power also activates as soon as a lunar has spent 11 or more motes of peripheral essence.
| |

− | Waning Moons were the spies and scouts for their Solar queens. Masters of shapeshifting peripheral motes spent on just changing forms does not add to their Anima flare if they do not wish it to. When they have a full flare going on the costs to change to that restricted group of forms is reduced by one mote.
| |
− | | |
− | No Moons remain the sorcerers and lore keepers as ever. They take the normal selection of Caste Attibutes and the same Anima power as before. When a No Moon has their anima manifesting the cost of spells is reduced by twice their essence. This can not reduce the cost of a spell lower then half its original cost.
