Description
Syla is a powerful wind spirit. Once merely an overseer of the Lap's rainfall, she's now the Director of Winds for the Central South. Owes Soran an unspecified favor, and is assisting him in his efforts. Has a great interest in the Sun-touched, perhaps having to do with her first promotion, long ago, though she says, as usual, very little. Has recently struck up a friendship with Five Pillars.
Appearances
Slya has three forms. One, as a beautiful human looking woman, though with constantly windblown hair, and surrounded by slight, if persistant breezes. She uses this guise for interacting with mortals and exalts, when she wants to disguise her divine nature, or at least put them at ease. Her natural form is quite similar, though it adds the vast white-feathered wings, sharp hawk's eyes, and long feathers in the place of hair that she hides when interacting wth mortals. In her War form, seldom seen (which is a /good/ thing) she becomes a creature to be feared, the bringer of the flash flood, and the desert storm. She stands six feet tall, her skin turning the dark grey of looming stormclouds. Her wings, black as night, unfold two meters to either side when fully extended. Lightning crackles in a corona around her head, running through her hair, and thunder booms in her voice. Sand swirls around her slowly the entire time, though when she gets /mad/ the sand slices with razor edges into those in her path. Her sword is always at hand, when in this form, taller than a man, but razor thin, and single edged.

Comments From Her Fellows
Five Pillars Syla is an interesting case. She obviously skirts the laws of heaven, a bit, but in the current situation, I can't really complain. I don't know if the others respect her powers enough. They seem to take her lightly, as is easy enough to do with spirits of the air, but she's powerful, and dangerous. And older than she lets on. A useful ally. But Soran uses her like a page-boy. There's something more there between the two of them that's not apparent, yet.
