Crookneck's Row runs a fair distance along the border between the Nighthammer and Nexus districts. It was created when a long stretch of street sank about four yards into the earth; the surrounding building collapsed inward a bit, so it's now about a one-yard drop into the rubble-filled trench that passes as the 'street'. About a two-block region into the Nexus district ended up settling and is now slighly tilted toward the river. The entire area is now called Crookneck's Row, although it originally only applied to the street along the border.  It was thought to have been caused by the collapse of one of the Tunnelz during the Great Nexus Fire. Most of the adjacent building tilted or sank a few inches, along with what remained of their property values. Yay!  Someone else working on filling out the numerous streets and other generic locations of the Project!  When I first started on the Nexus Project (oh, a few days ago now), I noticed that there were a lot of streets and other basic areas that really could stand to be fleshed out; I've only done one so far, but I'm glad someone else is also working on it.  I like the writing, too.  ^_^ -Everyl

Crookneck's Row runs a fair distance along the border between the Night Hammer and Nexus districts. It was created when a long stretch of street sunk about four yards into the earth, the surrounding building collapsed inward a bit, so it's now about a one yard drop into the rubble filled trench that passes as the 'street'. About a two block size region into the Nexus district ended up settling and is now slighly tilted toward the river. The entire area is now called Crooknecks Row, although it originally only applied to the street along the border. It was thought to have been caused by the collapse of one of the Tunnelz during the Great Nexus Fire . Most of the adjacent building tilted or sank a few inches, along with what remained of their property values. The street mostly houses vagrants and some of the more impoverished workers from the Nighthammer district. The area has been declared geologically stable by geomancers working for the Council.

Recently, Crooknecks Row has started to aquire something of a reputation for the disappearance of small children. While never a safe place, it's now reached a rate of at least 2 per month. The only actual business on the entire street is the Rainbow Spire . The Saker's dyeworks survived the collapse quite well, but now there is a rumor going around linking them to the missing children.

Rumours

 • The street is haunted by a hungry ghost that eats little children(one's who don't eat their vegitables taste better)
 • the Sakers are considering moving. However the current matriarch is against it.
 • The collapse is allowing something to come in from the Underground

Secret

 • Once, there was a bad period and three children disappeared in the same month(one got eaten by a river dragon and a genuine pervert got two others before getting caught by the Silver Mask .) This started the rumors. Overwhelming Virtue of the Incredible Hammer knew a trend he could work with when he saw it, so it's kept going since.
