Dodge
- Leaping Dodge Method costs 2m.
- Flow Like Blood does not require Seven Shadow Evasion, but it does require Shadow Over Water. In addition to its listed effects Flow Like Blood decreases the penalty to Dodge DV of any action and any environmental penalty by -1. At Essence 5 Flow Like Blood may be activated reflexively although it still counts as a Simple Charm for the purpose of Combos.
Eclipse
Linguistics
- Excellent Emissary's Tongue has the "Training" keyword and does not function as written in the core. Instead it allows the user to read or write a language as appropriate after one scene of study and the commitment of 2 motes. Reading and writing a language requires two scenes of appropriate study and the commitment of 4 motes. Although they may communicate fluently the user's Linguistics score is treated as two less for purposes of expression and social combat conducted in the adopted language, as this Charm does not provide the instinctive use of idiomatic language granted by actual practice. If the user of this Charm studies the written and spoken forms of a language they may pay an appropriate amount of Experience Points (or go into XP-debt as per the Training keyword) to raise their Linguistics score and learn the language permanently without the penalty to expression and social combat.
Ride
- Single Spirit Method is not a separate charm from Worthy Mount Technique; rather it is an alternate use of Worthy Mount Technique available once the user has attained Essence 4 in a fashion similar to Iron Raptor Technique and Sandstorm Wind Attack.
- Sometimes Horses Fly Approach requires Worthy Mount Technique rather than Single Spirit Method.
- Wind-Racing Essence Infusion is not a separate charm from Flashing Thunderbolt Steed; rather it is how Flashing Thunderbolt Steed works once the user has attained Essence 4 in a fashion similar to Iron Raptor Technique and Sandstorm Wind Attack.
Sail
- Sea Ambush Technique requires Salty Dog Method rather than (Any Sail Excellency). The last sentence of this Charm should read: "If there are no obstacles for the naval unit to conceal itself with it may still attempt to conceal itself at +4 difficulty."
- Shipwreck-Surviving Stamina is not a separate charm from Hull-Preserving Technique; rather it is an alternate use of Hull-Preserving Technique.
