Silver Yeti Hide
Cost: 6 motes Duration: One Day Type: Simple Min. Stamina: 5 Min. Ess.:: 3 Prereq.: Sealskin Endurance, Armor-Forming Technique
Using this Charm, the Lunar's skin changes to pitch black, and he sprouts a thick, soft pelt of silver hair over his body that is both exceptionally warm and exceptionally tough. The Lunar primes himself for survival and battle in the coldest of environments, facing the magical wrath of the Pole of Air itself.
When using this Charm, the Lunar is immune to all non-magical cold, as well as any environmental penalties having to do with snow, ice, or other environmental hazards iconic of the north. He adds his Stamina to all soaks-- although this counts as natural soak and is not perfect, it explicitly may soak even aggravated damage. In addition, he adds his Stamina again to all soaks against magical sources of cold and any attack that consists of magically attacking with the element of Air. When under the effects of this Charm, the Lunar adds his Essence to the cap on Lunar soak/oversoak (normally 12). Attacks incorporating magical fire, such as that produced by a fire elemental's Dragon's Suspire, a Fire-Aspected Dragon-Blooded's Elemental Burst Technique, or the Solar Charm Fiery Arrow Attack ignore all soak granted by this Charm.
The Lunar adds 1 to his fatigue rating if he uses this Charm in above-freezing temperatures. The character may, by reflexively paying the cost of the Charm at the same time each day, maintain this Charm indefinitely without having to spend an action reactivating it.
Lord of the Northern Pole
Cost: 8 motes Duration: One Day Type: Simple Min. Stamina: 5 Min. Ess.: 4 Prereq.: Silver Yeti Hide, Scales of the Dragon
Using this Charm, the Lunar grows a complex exoskeleton of hard plates held together and insulated with flesh. The Lunar's body temperature lowers, and his breath ceases to steam in cold environments. He is never cold. The stoutest of wildlife may freeze when the glaciers push south, but the Lunar will still survive on.
The Lunar is immune to all cold, magical or no, that is not part of a direct magical attacks. Direct magical attacks utilizing the element of air are automatically soaked to minimum damage. The Lunar adds his Stamina to all soaks-- this may explicitly soak aggravated damage, though it counts as natural soak and is not perfect.
The Lunar adds 3 to his fatigue rating if he uses this Charm in above-freezing temperatures. The character may, by reflexively paying the cost of the Charm at the same time each day, maintain this Charm indefinitely without having to spend an action reactivating it.
Beast of the Frozen Wastes
Cost: 15 motes, 1 Willpower Duration: One Scene Type: Simple Min. Stamina: 5 Min. Ess.: 5 Prereq.: Lord of the Northern Pole, Invulnerable Moonsilver Carapace
Using this Charm, the Lunar takes on a mighty battle form of the North, extruding moonsilver that grows like flowing silver ice from all over his form. It covers his body and forms into a all-encompassing personal full-body armor, sized and built appropiately for the Lunar's size and shape no matter what they may be. The icy moonsilver flows, somehow flexible while frozen, in response to the Lunar's movements and protects him from a wide host of potential harms.
The Lunar is immune to all cold, magical or no, that is not part of a direct magical attacks. Direct magical attacks utilizing the element of air are automatically soaked to minimum damage, as are all attacks not made with magical weapons or utilizing fire or magical fire as defined in earlier Charms. This applies even to aggravated damage, though it is not a perfect soak.
The Lunar adds 6 to his fatigue rating if he uses this Charm in above-freezing temperatures. Even then, he adds 3 to his fatigue rating if he is not in continuing contact with ice or snow.
