A note on retaining weapons:  where Solars and Abyssals have Charms that can effectively immunize them against disarmament, Lunars have Charms that either provide them with weapons from the natural world, or from their own bodies.  The actual "retrieve a moonsilver sword"-type Charm they have only works at a short range; a Lunar combatant is advised to have some sort of brawling aid or other backup if he relies on an artifact melee weapon.

Weapon Choice

Lunars have a few choices for weapons:

  • Deadly Beastman Transformation gifts (claws and teeth)
  • Unarmed Combat claw Charms
  • Melee weapons, either shaped, mundane, or moonsilver
  • Ranged weapons, either shaped, arrow-based, or thrown
    • Note that some Lunar Ranged Charms assume that you are using a bow, or only work with a bow, or work best with a bow.
