+ | <b>Iron Tears:</b> The House of Heavenly Pleasures burns, far away. Murals depicting the Yozis, the Landscape brought in by Rain of Unspoken Words, burning red in the distance...
+ | |||
+ | <i>"That" he answered Iron Tears slowly, his voice a strained, raspy whisper. "That ain't peace. It's terror. People they ain't sittin' all warm and snug around their fireplaces like yer girls inside get to. They're huddled up and hiding and prayin' to damn near anything that no one's gonna come knockin' on their door and drag off their daughters or their sons or their whole fuckin' family."</i>

+ | <i>"But I don't think it will be over for a long time, my lord. They wish to cover the north in flames, they wish to plunge the north in darkness. Not immediately perhaps, but the Boil will be dragged down too, they will not leave one city, one small island of light in all that darkness, no, they will destroy here too. Like they did Whiteshield, like they plan to do to Windia." her voice is quiet, sorrow filled.</i>
+ | |||
+ | <i>"And if you do not help us now, my lord, then I am not sure that we will be alive to help you, when all the land around you is blackness and dispair."</i>
+ | |||
+ | <i>"If you help us now, help us to help your city, help you people, then you will be worhsipped here forever more."</i>
+ | |||
+ | Those words rang deeply in.
+ | |||
+ | They were right, weren’t they?
+ | |||
+ | They were.... | ||
+ | |||
+ | One could not trust Oblivion. And yet, if he acted... he had waited for others to. He had waited to side with those that did well. It was his city, but they had forced his hand. He had to make a stand now.
+ | |||
+ | And then the black-feathered woman came in. Her words hollow, arrogant.
+ | |||
+ | They had asked for him to intervene, and she took it as granted. They had asked for him to intervene, and yet she spoke as if she could do it by herself.
+ | |||
+ | Arrogant, full of herself, like all servants of Oblivion, just like the other one, and yet...
+ | |||
+ | And yet... | ||
+ | |||
+ | As she walked into the room, the spirit of the Boil had eyes for nothing else. The form of smoke had forge-hot tendrils shying away that close to her body. He was silent out of thought before, but more and more all thought had vanished from him, into her curves, into her dark sin.
+ | |||
+ | He wanted to have her. | ||
+ | |||
+ | He <b>needed</b> to have her.
+ | |||
+ | And she offered herself?
+ | |||
+ | Barely holding the temptation in his body, the forge-warmth breathing on Selina, he took a moment to speak, voice filled with lust, “And finally, I meet the Dark Angel. It is quite a <i>pleasure</i>, lady of Windia...” He trails, exhaling pure ambrosial lust. “You are... <i>much</i> more than I had been told. I believe there will be much to enjoy in your help...”
+ | |||
+ | <b>Kanti:</b> "My lady." Kanti exhales as Selina walks in, the magic wrapped around her stripping Kanti of all control, banishing the pain and the suffering
+ | |||
+ | .. replacing it with need.
+ | |||
+ | <b>Seventh Moon:</b> As with everyone else in the room, Moon's attention became fixed upon the Windian assassin. She came into the room like a black flame that away the last few tears upon his cheeks and sent a flush creeping up his neck. The Lunar's eyes shone in shivering intensity as he stared at her. Light stirred in the air around him, silver tainted into a murky gray, and his he breathed out a soft growl rumbled in his throat.
+ | |||
+ | <i>I want.</i> | ||
+ | |||
+ | <b>Fiona:</b> Fiona had seen Alexander, beautiful as a sculpture as he Exalted. She had seen Mistress, having all her reason subsumed by her beauty. Now, though... Selina... she was something more. Something greater. She was walking sin, she seemed to be... the incarnation of it all, of every sin, of every pleasure. She felt herself flush, she felt her lips part, she felt herself desire to jump on her, to do to her as Mistress did to herself... her legs tensed and tightened together as she looked... and lost herself on Selina...
+ | |||
+ | <b>Selina de Windia:</b> "Oh?" She asks, her voice thrumming in a low tone, smokey and seductive still, her attention focused on the god. Her anima banner did not cloak her in the softly whispering caresses of shadow and oblivion, but she did not need it this time. Her wings are more adequate to the task at hand. "I would be delighted to help." Her voice dips a bit, into a near whisper. "Cleansing those heretics who think to cover the world in their blasphemy is a joy in itself."
+ | |||
+ | <b>Iron Tears:</b> The smoke exhales on her body, and she does not feel any of the northern cold anymore. "There are many joys to the world..."
+ | |||
+ | "Many to share, before a war. Stay, tonight. Let us talk about this cleansing..."
+ | |||
+ | <b>Kanti:</b> <i>Yes, stay mistress, or just take me away ... anything, anything you ask of me I will give to you tonight.</i>
+ | |||
+ | <i>Please.</i> | ||
+ | |||
+ | Her eyes are locked on Selin'a form, the things of a few moments before mostly forgotten, seeming so much less relavent, now ...
+ | |||
+ | <b>Selina de Windia:</b> "I think Moon would be more knowledgeable for the matter of alliance. I merely pledge my support to your mutual endevour." The Windian purrs, turning her smokey-eyed glance to Moon...and seeing his reaction to her. A flicker of her gaze to Kanti reveals much the same. And there's that smoke wrapping around her body.
+ | |||
+ | <i>Fuck me.</i> | ||
+ | |||
+ | They were now looking at her. All of them. Probably not caring about the original matter.
+ | |||
+ | It was a good thing the Pale Angel was not there to snicker. Or knock her to the ground.
+ | |||
+ | "I will...cement that support later, yes." She replies after a moment of hesitation.
+ | |||
+ | <b>Rain of Unspoken Words:</b> In the background, Rain's eyes follow Selina as she enters the room. Beautiful. Perfect. The image of the obsidian angel brushes past her practiced mask, forcing her to pay attention to Selina, dredging up unwanted emotions.
+ | |||
+ | Want | ||
+ | |||
+ | Need | ||
+ | |||
+ | Lust. | ||
+ | |||
+ | <b>Hate</b> | ||
+ | |||
+ | Her face is impassive, however, and she remains away from the rest, doing her best not to look at that which she cannot ignore. Gritting her teeth ever so slightly as the Dark Angel's image burns in her mind. She hates all creation passively, but suddenly, in front of her, is a piece more real than the rest.
+ | |||
+ | <b>Iron Tears:</b> "Your support."
+ | |||
+ | He savors those words. "If an alliance is reached, yes? Things might get dangerous. You shall be given my support... armor and weapons, and my followers. There is much strength to be used in my forges besides Chains of Duty. Let us seal this alliance, then... and I shall give you my gifts." the tendrils of smoke begins to caress Selina's form now, Selina's wings, her hair... "They will keep you safe from any harm. And together... yes, we can keep it each other safe from any danger."
+ | |||
+ | He turns to Moon then, his form becoming less smoky and more like the faceless armored god.
+ | |||
+ | Imposing. | ||
+ | |||
+ | Powerful | ||
+ | |||
+ | As hard, inventive and tough as the Boil itself.
+ | |||
+ | "Father of Crows. We should crush the undead that are in our city, make it ours once again. You shall have my support in your endeavor."
+ | |||
+ | <b>Kanti:</b> In a small part of her brain, the part that isn't consumed by the vision before her, Kanti hears his words and relaxes .. the important part was secure, at least....
+ | |||
+ | <b>Seventh Moon:</b> "Yeah?" Moon answers at length, only to have another pause follow before he finally pulls his eyes away from Selina looks up at the city-spirit. Even then, even hearing those words that would have meant so much a moment ago, Iron Tears seemed like... a distraction. "Great... that's damn great..."
+ | |||
+ | <b>Selina de Windia:</b> <i>This is why you only do this when you're in bed with them already, or about to be!</i>
+ | |||
+ | Selina pursed her lips, and thought of ending the effects of her hearthstone and simple magic. But she didn't want to drop the veil and make the god angry from thinking he'd been rudely manipulated.
+ | |||
+ | "I can retire for a bit while you discuss it, yes?" Comes the question, voice much less smokey now.
+ | |||
+ | <b>Seventh Moon:</b> Moon's eyes dropped away from Iron Tears without hesitation.
+ | |||
+ | <i>Leaving... ?</i> | ||
+ | |||
+ | Maybe to somewhere that there weren't other people around. Other annoying, distracting people around. "The kid can handle the rest of this shit, she's good at talking." He said, giving Selina a look that would have been hateful if it weren't so filled with desire. "I'll go with you."
+ | |||
+ | <b>Kanti:</b> <i>...Leave me?<br> she will leave me here?<br>not take me with you?<br>I don't mind, I'll do what Moon wants too .. I can please him too!<br>Not as well as you, but ...</i>
+ | |||
+ | Kanti looks down at the floor, slowly "Yes, Moon." she says softly.
+ | |||
+ | <b>Iron Tears:</b> "... You are going to leave?"
+ | |||
+ | his voice is full of... disbelief?
+ | |||
+ | Indignation? | ||
+ | |||
+ | <b>Selina de Windia:</b> Turquoise eyes widen for a moment as she looks at Moon. "You can't, why are we here to begin with?" Swinging her gaze to the dejected Kanti and then to the indignant god. "I--" There wasn't any real way out. "I'll stay here. But first," She looks at all of them sternly, a commanding goddess in shades of white, ash, and black to rival the Pale Angel. "We <i>will</i> secure whatever terms of alliance the two of you may require."
+ | |||
+ | She'd shown the stick, now the carrot. "And then," Her voice becomes smokey sin once more. "We can discuss <i>my</i> terms of involvement, yes?"
+ | |||
+ | <b>Iron Tears:</b> "Of course...." He says, promises on his voice...
+ | |||
+ | "Well then, you came here to plead to me. I will hear you first..."
+ | |||
+ | <b>Seventh Moon:</b> <i>Fuck!</i>
+ | |||
+ | Annoyance. Frustration. Anger. For a few seconds, the overwhelming desire for the Dark Angel becomes overwhelmed a trio of other heated emotions. But
+ | |||
+ | She was right. It <i>had</i> to be done... but the faster they could get it taken care of, the better.
+ | |||
+ | "A'ite," he breathed raspily, twisting himself around until the Dark Angel was out of sight completely. Unseen but still felt, beating her raw sensuality against his back. But it did help not to look right at her. "A'ite Rus Iron Tears. We need ya just like what ya said. All that shit. The weapons, the troops; whatever. We need ya ta get the people worked up too, get 'um behind us. And when the shit's all over with, we need help putting whatever's left back together, give the kid somewhere he can use ta push these dead fucks outta the whole country. Now, what do you want?"
+ | |||
+ | Before the spirit could answer, Moon stepped to side, placing himself in front of the Dark Angel.
+ | |||
+ | Other than that | ||
+ | |||
+ | <b>Selina de Windia:</b> Selina had nothing to say. This was Moon's show, she was just the prize at the end of the bargaining. She had specifically done this to play that role, although perhaps, the Windian admitted, she had played it too well.
+ | |||
+ | Nothing to say, except (and in a less alluring voice) "My only request is that we do nothing rashly. I may be able to procure additional help."
+ | |||
+ | <b>Iron Tears:</b> "You speak in the name of the prince, do you not?"
+ | |||
+ | Old desires, old plans, come foward, even through the mist of lust...."Well, then... I desire my church to spread to Whiteshield afterwards. As god of my city and the nation alike. The gods of Whiteshield itself are gone, and the seat is vacant. I wish you to make him swear to take it up..."
+ | |||
+ | A single request. And lust takes hold once again"And I also ask for you to stay the night, to seal our alliance."
+ | |||
+ | <b>Rain of Unspoken Words:</b> In her corner, Rain's eyes narrow at the audacity of the god.
+ | |||
+ | To think such a thing would last.
+ | |||
+ | Nothing in creation lasts.
+ | |||
+ | Silently, unnoticed, she reaches out with her essence and twists emotion and thought.
+ | |||
+ | Iron Tears: A moment passes then, a moment of glamour and change. And suddenly, so many of his concerns vanish. He thinks more, and walks foward to Moon, as if demanding him to stand aside.
+ | |||
+ | Now. | ||
+ | |||
+ | "On second thought, I suppose we have to do it, ourselves. If my city must suffer for Whiteshield, then it shall. We shall burn, but it shall be set free."
+ | |||
+ | His eyes set on Selina once again, holding Kanti to him... "Let us enjoy this night, then. Before we have to make my beloved city burn."
+ | |||
+ | <b>Selina de Windia:</b> Raising one eyebrow at the god, Selina speaks up once again. "The point of this is that the city does not burn."
+ | |||
+ | Seal the alliance? Oh yes. Well she'd drag Kanti into it then, she noticed how the girl was making herself accessable, right at the very beginning of her walking in.
+ | |||
+ | <i>I've never slept with a god before, but my first time will <b>not do be alone.</b></i>
+ | |||
+ | Selina then turns her gaze on Kanti, the same smokey gaze as before focused on her now. "I think you'll have some business in that as well, my dear little Dragon."
+ | |||
+ | And then she smiles. Not charm-aided, though the heightened beauty probably makes it different from what it would be normally. Just a simple, wickedly knowing, almost-lustfully-sadistic, smile.
+ | |||
+ | <b>Kanti:</b> <i>she ... will let me be with her?<br>let me please her?<br>she is so like Her ... and not alike ...</i>
+ | |||
+ | He face lights slighty, at the god's side, pressed into his warmth.
+ | |||
+ | "Of course, my Lady, it will be my pleasure."
+ | |||
+ | <i>Anything you ask of me.</i>
+ | |||
+ | <b>Seventh Moon:</b> Moon doesn't move. The smoke of the Faceless God strikes a wall of silver light and glaring eyes. The Lunar's hands are in his pockets and his body hunched warily.
+ | |||
+ | He fixes his glare up at Iron Tears before he speak. "One or the other." He says, digging his nails into his palm. Feeling like a pimp. But the spirit was taking it too far. "Not both."
+ | |||
+ | The way the spirit was cling to Kanti made his ire rise. He could see those smoky tendrils around Selina as well. So softly possessive, so personal, after he held them both and seen their pain just that morning.
+ | |||
+ | "If one somehow ain't enough for you, ya got enough ladies around here already. Ya wanna get two in bed so bad, get one'a them..."
+ | |||
+ | <i>But don't you think for a fuckin' minute I'm gonna let you take both, asshole you ain't worth <b>that</b> much ta me</i>
+ | |||
+ | <b>Iron Tears:</b> The forge god's hand lets go of Kanti then. "Both of them offered themselves as prizes, Seventh Moon." He would press it. But Moon knew it. He was a slayer of gods. And an insane chosen of Luna. It would not do well to try him... "But alas, as you wish. Stand aside. I will keep the Dark Angel."
+ | |||
+ | <b>Kanti:</b> "my Lady, please ..." Kanti asks so softly as the god lets go of her, looking at her imploringly.
+ | |||
+ | <b>Selina de Windia:</b> She was never doing this again. <i>Never</i>. At least not around this particular mix of people! She wanted to tell Moon that she'd been out doing things like that since she was as old as Fiona and that jealousy didn't suit him...but she didn't. That would make a mess. A big mess. Even if it were just them alone.
+ | |||
+ | "Another time, Kanti." Selina replies, not quite petting her on the head, but seeming like she would. "Soon."
+ | |||
+ | <b>Seventh Moon:</b> He knew who Iron Tears was going to pick right from the start, but he still hesitates a breath and looks back at Selina. He feels almost angry with her, through the haze of lust that fills him just at the sight of her. Why the fuck did she have to do that? To "offer" herself? Both of them the kid too.
+ | |||
+ | His nail dug deeper, hot blood welling up around his finger tips. Their choice or not to go, this was his city they had been here to bargain for.
+ | |||
+ | <i>I wouldn'a sold either of ya</i>
+ | |||
+ | Finally, he moves aside and clears the forge-gods path to Dark Angel.
+ | |||
+ | <b>Kanti:</b> <i>Soon?<br>Soon!<br><br>...Soon...not now ...</i>
+ | |||
+ | "Yes, my lady." she says in the same soft voice, giving Moon a slightly reproachful look, before she looks down guiltily
+ | |||
+ | <i>He doesn't deserve that.<br>He only wants what's 'best' for you</i>
+ | |||
+ | <b>Iron Tears:</b> The smoke moves to the forges, then... sinking into a slab of molten Iron. It moved out of its own volition, falling on the water.... dancing upward amidst the steam... for a moment, it was a great armor, eyes shining in red. But as soon as the steam cleared, a handsome older man, looking to be in his late fourties, came out. He has Iron gray hair and eyes, with a neatly maintained beard and well groomed locks, he is broad shouldered and well muscled. Covered in the clothes of a simple day laborer, his face and skin are covered with a light coating of coal dust like one who spent time working in the mines.
+ | |||
+ | He walks over to Selina, encircling her waist. "Let us go, then. I suppose you have the Underworld to raise, Father of Crows. And a long night ahead of you to do so. I wish you luck" He says, holding her closer. "They will be safe here, rest assured..."
+ | |||
+ | <b>Seventh Moon:</b> "Yeah..." he answers in a flat tone as he watches the god wrap his arms around Selina. "Yeah, guess I do have work ta do, too..."
+ | |||
+ | <b>Selina de Windia:</b> She feels, for a long moment as the god encircles her, a sense that she's betraying Moon. A pang of guilt. She wants to tell him she won't do it, or to take the Dragon. Anything but go through with this.
+ | |||
+ | Selina steps on that emotion, grinding it under the metaphorical heel of her will. She had done things like this before when they were necessary, and she'd do them again.
+ | |||
+ | <i>Better me instead of you.</i> She thinks to Kanti. <i>No one can reach me through the net when it's like this, not after him. It will pass quickly.</i>
+ | |||
+ | The Windian lets the god embrace her, not quite following up on his actions yet. There'll be time for that later, when Moon doesn't have to see.
+ | |||
+ | Smiling Lover: Then, someone appears on the balcony. She giggles. She begins to appear them, ghostly... as a tall, slender northern woman with generous curves and full lips. Her hair is spun gold that has been twisted into tight curls. Her pale skin flushed radiantly under the light of the forge's fires, she wears only light make-up and only the most obstinate of critics would say she needed to adorn herself any more. Dressed in an elegant gown of white that clings to her every curve, artfully reveling a enticing amount of cleavage and fashioned to flash her perfect, pale legs through cleverly hidden slits in the skirt, she displays her beauty with pride and holds her head high, smiling at the Exalts and the Fae. A warm, perfumed breeze follows her as she manifests in her giggle.
+ | |||
+ | "Wonderful.", she says.
+ | |||
+ | "Hello, Brother. Hello, Dark Angel. Seventh Moon. Kanti... it has been so long. Oh, and others." She says, looking at Rain and Fiona, on the back... "It is a pleasure to meet you. Oh, Brother, please, do not stop anything for me. You know I feel at home here. I just had to come.. and compliment those wonderful girls."
+ | |||
+ | She is the Smiling Lover, a goddess of the prostitutes, part of the bureau of Serenity. She had tried to recruit Kanti many times before, and Kanti herself had been used in deals between the Lover and Kanti's master. With familiarity, she walks to Kanti , caressing her hair... "How much has this wonderful girl suffered.."
+ | |||
+ | <i>And yet, in so many ways, she became such a spicier fetish. Amongst the right ones, her price would soar... just like the Dark Angel. Two wonderful dark fetishes...</i>
+ | |||
+ | <b>Fiona:</b> Fiona could not say anything.
+ | |||
+ | It had been... unreal.
+ | |||
+ | First, the awe of the god.
+ | |||
+ | Second, Selina. Fiona couldn't hide her embarassment about what ran down her legs, soaking her underwear... she wanted it, as badly as Kanti did...
+ | |||
+ | And finally, Selina's deal. Something felt... off, even by one who used to be of the Vestal...
+ | |||
+ | And finally, another goddess, almost as beautiful as Selina as she stands.... Fiona can say nothing but nod, flushed, confused, embarassed....
+ | |||
+ | <b>Seventh Moon:</b> The sudden appearance of another spirit takes his attention away from Selina and Iron Tears, but has little more impact than that. Moon knows the Smiling Lover by sight and wasn't really surprised to see her here. Everyone knew about the siblings relationship, even if no one ever spoke about it.
+ | |||
+ | Empty, he watched as the goddess pawed at Kanti, the praise she was giving to them both for what they'd done scratching him to the quick.
+ | |||
+ | "I gotta go," he announces to no one in particular. Hands still in his pockets, he turns away from the balcony and moves unhurriedly past the Dark Angel and Iron Tears. "Gonna be a lotta shit to get taken care of tonight..."
+ | |||
+ | <b>Selina de Windia:</b> Selina knows the tone the goddess uses. She's heard it often enough in Nexus, and other places.
+ | |||
+ | Inside her eyes, her mind, something <b>else</b> stirs. Total, absolute night flickers within turquoise for a moment as she sees the goddess caress Kanti's hair. Less jealousy that she might seduce the girl, so much as possessiveness and protectiveness, that something might happen while she isn't there to stop it. The specks of void-black shine bright as the sun for a moment, then disappear. Remembering Kanti's performance from earlier. Remembering those scars, marks of what the Vestal did to her. It stirs for that second or so, called by her momentary fury. A faint faint echo of its own dispossession.
+ | |||
+ | <i>Mine.</i> | ||
+ | |||
+ | <i>Not for anyone else to possess, not till I find someone suitable.</i>
+ | |||
+ | "Indeed, she has suffered." She smiles at the goddess, a predatory smile, not leaving with her brother yet. Her tone is just as smokey as before, with a tinge of finality "Compliments they may have earned. But remember, they are <b>mine.</b>"
+ | |||
+ | <i>And that person is not you!</i>
+ | |||
+ | <b>Iron Tears:</b> "Why, hello, sister. Why didn't I think you would be around? This will be good for you, will it not?" He says, hand running down on Selina... "But if you will excuse me... please, feel at home. I have more to... talk with our lovely Raven here. If she will calm down..."
+ | |||
+ | He pushes her just slightly. He lets her know that he is hungry. He needs her. He needs her <i>now</i>
+ | |||
+ | And with that slight push, he begins to walk her out of the room...
+ | |||
+ | <b>Kanti:</b> <i>No, my lady, it is not best this way.<br>It hurts you to sleep with him.<br>It hurts moon for you to sleep with him.<br>It wouldnt hurt me.<br>I made that choice before I saw him.<br>It is now more and no less than I have done much of my life.<br>But it is your choice my lady.</i>
+ | |||
+ | Kanti looks up with suprise as the Smiling Lover appears and she curtseys by reflex.
+ | |||
+ | <i>You...you have to see me like this ..do you?</i>
+ | |||
+ | "It most pleasant to see you again, my Lady Lover" she says she she rises from the curtsey and into the goddess' carresses, a memory of a life she didn't have any more...
+ | |||
+ | <i>All my life ...<br>gone ...</i>
+ | |||
+ | <b>Selina de Windia:</b> She begins to leave, looking straight at Iron Tears as she lets him guide her. She knew a madam when she saw one, and some were just as bad as the worst pimp. They sold you to whoever would pay the highest. Even if he or she would bleed you. Her eyes burn with frustration. "She'll leave my poor girls alone. They aren't for sale. To anyone."

Escape from the Heaven House
Iron Tears: The House of Heavenly Pleasures burns, far away. Murals depicting the Yozis, the Landscape brought in by Rain of Unspoken Words, burning red in the distance...
"That" he answered Iron Tears slowly, his voice a strained, raspy whisper. "That ain't peace. It's terror. People they ain't sittin' all warm and snug around their fireplaces like yer girls inside get to. They're huddled up and hiding and prayin' to damn near anything that no one's gonna come knockin' on their door and drag off their daughters or their sons or their whole fuckin' family."
......
"But I don't think it will be over for a long time, my lord. They wish to cover the north in flames, they wish to plunge the north in darkness. Not immediately perhaps, but the Boil will be dragged down too, they will not leave one city, one small island of light in all that darkness, no, they will destroy here too. Like they did Whiteshield, like they plan to do to Windia." her voice is quiet, sorrow filled.
"And if you do not help us now, my lord, then I am not sure that we will be alive to help you, when all the land around you is blackness and dispair."
"If you help us now, help us to help your city, help you people, then you will be worhsipped here forever more."
Those words rang deeply in.
They were right, weren’t they?
They were....
One could not trust Oblivion. And yet, if he acted... he had waited for others to. He had waited to side with those that did well. It was his city, but they had forced his hand. He had to make a stand now.
And then the black-feathered woman came in. Her words hollow, arrogant.
They had asked for him to intervene, and she took it as granted. They had asked for him to intervene, and yet she spoke as if she could do it by herself.
Arrogant, full of herself, like all servants of Oblivion, just like the other one, and yet...
And yet...
As she walked into the room, the spirit of the Boil had eyes for nothing else. The form of smoke had forge-hot tendrils shying away that close to her body. He was silent out of thought before, but more and more all thought had vanished from him, into her curves, into her dark sin.
He wanted to have her.
He needed to have her.
And she offered herself?
Barely holding the temptation in his body, the forge-warmth breathing on Selina, he took a moment to speak, voice filled with lust, “And finally, I meet the Dark Angel. It is quite a pleasure, lady of Windia...” He trails, exhaling pure ambrosial lust. “You are... much more than I had been told. I believe there will be much to enjoy in your help...”
Kanti: "My lady." Kanti exhales as Selina walks in, the magic wrapped around her stripping Kanti of all control, banishing the pain and the suffering
.. replacing it with need.
Seventh Moon: As with everyone else in the room, Moon's attention became fixed upon the Windian assassin.
I want.
Fiona: Fiona had seen Alexander, beautiful as a sculpture as he Exalted.
Selina de Windia: "Oh?" She asks, her voice thrumming in a low tone, smokey and seductive still, her attention focused on the god.
Iron Tears: The smoke exhales on her body, and she does not feel any of the northern cold anymore. "There are many joys to the world..."
"Many to share, before a war. Stay, tonight. Let us talk about this cleansing..."
Kanti: Yes, stay mistress, or just take me away ... anything, anything you ask of me I will give to you tonight.
Please.
Her eyes are locked on Selin'a form, the things of a few moments before mostly forgotten, seeming so much less relavent, now ...
Selina de Windia: "I think Moon would be more knowledgeable for the matter of alliance. I merely pledge my support to your mutual endevour." The Windian purrs, turning her smokey-eyed glance to Moon...and seeing his reaction to her. A flicker of her gaze to Kanti reveals much the same. And there's that smoke wrapping around her body.
Fuck me.
They were now looking at her. All of them. Probably not caring about the original matter.
It was a good thing the Pale Angel was not there to snicker. Or knock her to the ground.
"I will...cement that support later, yes." She replies after a moment of hesitation.
Rain of Unspoken Words: In the background, Rain's eyes follow Selina as she enters the room. Beautiful. Perfect. The image of the obsidian angel brushes past her practiced mask, forcing her to pay attention to Selina, dredging up unwanted emotions.
Want
Need
Lust.
Hate
Her face is impassive, however, and she remains away from the rest, doing her best not to look at that which she cannot ignore. Gritting her teeth ever so slightly as the Dark Angel's image burns in her mind. She hates all creation passively, but suddenly, in front of her, is a piece more real than the rest.
Iron Tears: "Your support."
He savors those words.
He turns to Moon then, his form becoming less smoky and more like the faceless armored god.
Imposing.
Powerful
As hard, inventive and tough as the Boil itself.
"Father of Crows. We should crush the undead that are in our city, make it ours once again. You shall have my support in your endeavor."
Kanti: In a small part of her brain, the part that isn't consumed by the vision before her, Kanti hears his words and relaxes .. the important part was secure, at least....
Seventh Moon: "Yeah?" Moon answers at length, only to have another pause follow before he finally pulls his eyes away from Selina looks up at the city-spirit. Even then, even hearing those words that would have meant so much a moment ago, Iron Tears seemed like... a distraction. "Great... that's damn great..."
Selina de Windia: This is why you only do this when you're in bed with them already, or about to be!
Selina pursed her lips, and thought of ending the effects of her hearthstone and simple magic. But she didn't want to drop the veil and make the god angry from thinking he'd been rudely manipulated.
"I can retire for a bit while you discuss it, yes?" Comes the question, voice much less smokey now.
Seventh Moon: Moon's eyes dropped away from Iron Tears without hesitation.
Leaving... ?
Maybe to somewhere that there weren't other people around. Other annoying, distracting people around. "The kid can handle the rest of this shit, she's good at talking." He said, giving Selina a look that would have been hateful if it weren't so filled with desire. "I'll go with you."
Kanti: ...Leave me?
she will leave me here?
not take me with you?
I don't mind, I'll do what Moon wants too .. I can please him too!
Not as well as you, but ...
Kanti looks down at the floor, slowly "Yes, Moon." she says softly.
Iron Tears: "... You are going to leave?"
his voice is full of... disbelief?
Indignation?
Selina de Windia: Turquoise eyes widen for a moment as she looks at Moon. "We will secure whatever terms of alliance the two of you may require."
She'd shown the stick, now the carrot. "And then," Her voice becomes smokey sin once more. "We can discuss my terms of involvement, yes?"
Iron Tears: "Of course...." He says, promises on his voice...
"Well then, you came here to plead to me. I will hear you first..."
Seventh Moon: Fuck!
Annoyance. Frustration. Anger. For a few seconds, the overwhelming desire for the Dark Angel becomes overwhelmed a trio of other heated emotions. But
She was right. It had to be done... but the faster they could get it taken care of, the better.
"A'ite," he breathed raspily, twisting himself around until the Dark Angel was out of sight completely.
Before the spirit could answer, Moon stepped to side, placing himself in front of the Dark Angel.
Other than that
Selina de Windia: Selina had nothing to say. This was Moon's show, she was just the prize at the end of the bargaining. She had specifically done this to play that role, although perhaps, the Windian admitted, she had played it too well.
Nothing to say, except (and in a less alluring voice) "My only request is that we do nothing rashly. I may be able to procure additional help."
Iron Tears: "You speak in the name of the prince, do you not?"
Old desires, old plans, come foward, even through the mist of lust...."Well, then... I desire my church to spread to Whiteshield afterwards. As god of my city and the nation alike. The gods of Whiteshield itself are gone, and the seat is vacant. I wish you to make him swear to take it up..."
A single request. And lust takes hold once again"And I also ask for you to stay the night, to seal our alliance."
Rain of Unspoken Words: In her corner, Rain's eyes narrow at the audacity of the god.
To think such a thing would last.
Nothing in creation lasts.
Silently, unnoticed, she reaches out with her essence and twists emotion and thought.
Iron Tears: A moment passes then, a moment of glamour and change. And suddenly, so many of his concerns vanish. He thinks more, and walks foward to Moon, as if demanding him to stand aside.
Now.
"On second thought, I suppose we have to do it, ourselves. If my city must suffer for Whiteshield, then it shall. We shall burn, but it shall be set free."
His eyes set on Selina once again, holding Kanti to him... "Let us enjoy this night, then. Before we have to make my beloved city burn."
Selina de Windia: Raising one eyebrow at the god, Selina speaks up once again. "The point of this is that the city does not burn."
Seal the alliance? Oh yes. Well she'd drag Kanti into it then, she noticed how the girl was making herself accessable, right at the very beginning of her walking in.
I've never slept with a god before, but my first time will not do be alone.
Selina then turns her gaze on Kanti, the same smokey gaze as before focused on her now. "I think you'll have some business in that as well, my dear little Dragon."
And then she smiles. Not charm-aided, though the heightened beauty probably makes it different from what it would be normally. Just a simple, wickedly knowing, almost-lustfully-sadistic, smile.
Kanti: she ... will let me be with her?
let me please her?
she is so like Her ... and not alike ...
He face lights slighty, at the god's side, pressed into his warmth.
"Of course, my Lady, it will be my pleasure."
Anything you ask of me.
Seventh Moon: Moon doesn't move. The smoke of the Faceless God strikes a wall of silver light and glaring eyes. The Lunar's hands are in his pockets and his body hunched warily.
He fixes his glare up at Iron Tears before he speak. "One or the other." He says, digging his nails into his palm. Feeling like a pimp. But the spirit was taking it too far. "Not both."
The way the spirit was cling to Kanti made his ire rise. He could see those smoky tendrils around Selina as well. So softly possessive, so personal, after he held them both and seen their pain just that morning.
"If one somehow ain't enough for you, ya got enough ladies around here already. Ya wanna get two in bed so bad, get one'a them..."
But don't you think for a fuckin' minute I'm gonna let you take both, asshole you ain't worth that much ta me
Iron Tears: The forge god's hand lets go of Kanti then. "Both of them offered themselves as prizes, Seventh Moon." He would press it. But Moon knew it. He was a slayer of gods. And an insane chosen of Luna. It would not do well to try him... "But alas, as you wish. Stand aside. I will keep the Dark Angel."
Kanti: "my Lady, please ..." Kanti asks so softly as the god lets go of her, looking at her imploringly.
Selina de Windia: She was never doing this again. Never. At least not around this particular mix of people! She wanted to tell Moon that she'd been out doing things like that since she was as old as Fiona and that jealousy didn't suit him...but she didn't. That would make a mess. A big mess. Even if it were just them alone.
"Another time, Kanti." Selina replies, not quite petting her on the head, but seeming like she would. "Soon."
Seventh Moon: He knew who Iron Tears was going to pick right from the start, but he still hesitates a breath and looks back at Selina. He feels almost angry with her, through the haze of lust that fills him just at the sight of her. Why the fuck did she have to do that? To "offer" herself? Both of them the kid too.
His nail dug deeper, hot blood welling up around his finger tips. Their choice or not to go, this was his city they had been here to bargain for.
I wouldn'a sold either of ya
Finally, he moves aside and clears the forge-gods path to Dark Angel.
Kanti: Soon?
Soon!
...Soon...not now ...
"Yes, my lady." she says in the same soft voice, giving Moon a slightly reproachful look, before she looks down guiltily
He doesn't deserve that.
He only wants what's 'best' for you
Iron Tears: The smoke moves to the forges, then... sinking into a slab of molten Iron.
He walks over to Selina, encircling her waist. "Let us go, then. I suppose you have the Underworld to raise, Father of Crows. And a long night ahead of you to do so. I wish you luck" He says, holding her closer. "They will be safe here, rest assured..."
Seventh Moon: "Yeah..." he answers in a flat tone as he watches the god wrap his arms around Selina. "Yeah, guess I do have work ta do, too..."
Selina de Windia: She feels, for a long moment as the god encircles her, a sense that she's betraying Moon. A pang of guilt. She wants to tell him she won't do it, or to take the Dragon. Anything but go through with this.
Selina steps on that emotion, grinding it under the metaphorical heel of her will. She had done things like this before when they were necessary, and she'd do them again.
Better me instead of you. She thinks to Kanti. No one can reach me through the net when it's like this, not after him. It will pass quickly.
The Windian lets the god embrace her, not quite following up on his actions yet. There'll be time for that later, when Moon doesn't have to see.
Smiling Lover: Then, someone appears on the balcony.
"Wonderful.", she says.
"Hello, Brother.
She is the Smiling Lover, a goddess of the prostitutes, part of the bureau of Serenity. She had tried to recruit Kanti many times before, and Kanti herself had been used in deals between the Lover and Kanti's master. With familiarity, she walks to Kanti , caressing her hair... "How much has this wonderful girl suffered.."
And yet, in so many ways, she became such a spicier fetish. Amongst the right ones, her price would soar... just like the Dark Angel. Two wonderful dark fetishes...
Fiona: Fiona could not say anything.
It had been... unreal.
First, the awe of the god.
Second, Selina. Fiona couldn't hide her embarassment about what ran down her legs, soaking her underwear... she wanted it, as badly as Kanti did...
And finally, Selina's deal. Something felt... off, even by one who used to be of the Vestal...
And finally, another goddess, almost as beautiful as Selina as she stands.... Fiona can say nothing but nod, flushed, confused, embarassed....
Seventh Moon: The sudden appearance of another spirit takes his attention away from Selina and Iron Tears, but has little more impact than that. Moon knows the Smiling Lover by sight and wasn't really surprised to see her here. Everyone knew about the siblings relationship, even if no one ever spoke about it.
Empty, he watched as the goddess pawed at Kanti, the praise she was giving to them both for what they'd done scratching him to the quick.
"I gotta go," he announces to no one in particular. Hands still in his pockets, he turns away from the balcony and moves unhurriedly past the Dark Angel and Iron Tears. "Gonna be a lotta shit to get taken care of tonight..."
Selina de Windia: Selina knows the tone the goddess uses. She's heard it often enough in Nexus, and other places.
Inside her eyes, her mind, something else stirs.
Mine.
Not for anyone else to possess, not till I find someone suitable.
"Indeed, she has suffered." She smiles at the goddess, a predatory smile, not leaving with her brother yet. Her tone is just as smokey as before, with a tinge of finality "Compliments they may have earned. But remember, they are mine."
And that person is not you!
Iron Tears: "Why, hello, sister. Why didn't I think you would be around? This will be good for you, will it not?" He says, hand running down on Selina... "But if you will excuse me... please, feel at home. I have more to... talk with our lovely Raven here. If she will calm down..."
He pushes her just slightly. He lets her know that he is hungry. He needs her. He needs her now
And with that slight push, he begins to walk her out of the room...
Kanti: No, my lady, it is not best this way.
It hurts you to sleep with him.
It hurts moon for you to sleep with him.
It wouldnt hurt me.
I made that choice before I saw him.
It is now more and no less than I have done much of my life.
But it is your choice my lady.
Kanti looks up with suprise as the Smiling Lover appears and she curtseys by reflex.
You...you have to see me like this ..do you?
"It most pleasant to see you again, my Lady Lover" she says she she rises from the curtsey and into the goddess' carresses, a memory of a life she didn't have any more...
All my life ...
gone ...
Selina de Windia: She begins to leave, looking straight at Iron Tears as she lets him guide her. She knew a madam when she saw one, and some were just as bad as the worst pimp. They sold you to whoever would pay the highest. Even if he or she would bleed you. Her eyes burn with frustration. "She'll leave my poor girls alone. They aren't for sale. To anyone."
