House Rules: Character Creation
- Custom artifacts are restricted at character creation.
- Cross-Exalt backgrounds are heavily restricted.
- Lunars may choose 2 Favored Abilities in addition to Survival, instead of 1.
A backstory must be submitted before I will even look at a new character's sheet. The backstory should include details on your character's goals, personality, history, & any relevant information about their specific type (i.e. why they were exalted, created, sired, etc). It is preferable to have this backstory submitted in written or electronic form.
House Rules: General
- Twilight & Daybreak castes should roll their Essence when using their anima ability to determine the amount of damage reduced.
- Stunt dice also add to minimum damage (i.e. With a 1-die stunt, your min damage becomes 2). This effect is NOT compatible with weapons that have a minimum damage higher then one. Defensive stunts MAY reduce or counteract this bonus, depending on the stunt in question. This rule replaces Essence ping.
- Characters may spend xp or bp to increase stats of their familiars with proper justification.
- Backgrounds don't cost any xp to raise during play, given a proper reason. In downtime, characters may raise their backgrounds with xp, but require some type of story justification and ST approval.
House Rules: Charms
- Purchase of any sorcery/necromancy/weaving charm comes with a free spell of the relevant type.
- When attempting to purchase the subsequent (and identical) version of a charm (i.e. Ox-Body), the character is always considered to have a teacher.
