- First, the basic Solar defence was taken to be the two persistent defences

Improving the Solar Defence
- As an alternative to FFBS, use Steel Devil Style (from CB:Night) and add counterattacks
- Heavenly Guardian Defence (for a perfect point defence)
- Seven Shadows Evasion (for a perfect dodge of any dodgeable attack)
- Golden Essence Block (to improve the parry)
- Reed in the Wind (to improve the dodge)
- Leaping Dodge Method (to move away from the attacker)
- Ebon Shadow Form (adds Essence to difficulty to be hit)
- Five Dragon Blocking (adds Essence dice to parries)
- Stealth charms to make you invisible
- Flame Flicker Stance (increase difficulty to be hit for a turn)
