The problem with constantly working with numbers is that everything changes when you change one variable. This results in more work. But I am loathe to just click and delete old work, so...
Also, there's some note-taking when I don't have access to my own comp.

Mistakenly sparse Lookshy area

I screwed up the density by a factor of 10. So this goes out the window, while I recalibrate for a huge density.

194,000 square miles same as the historic Iowa Territory outside Lookshy that are superficially independent. Nearly (and very neatly) 194,000 people live in these Lookshy Protectorates outside the City-State.

There are 5 towns and over four hundred villages covering the Protectorates. They are more densely clustered along the three big roads leading out of Lookshy, or along one of the 4 greater rivers (River of Dying Mercies, Naru River, the Uyotamon, and the Ululating River) as well as along the Yanaze and the Inner Sea. Almost every settlement has a river or creek running through it, as well as a Manse that is undoubtedly claimed by one of Lookshy's DBs.

Towns: 17,000 people

  • Fusuro- 5720 people. Lv4 Fire Manse
  • Largess- 4004 people. Lv 2 Wood Manse
  • Parvenu- 2609 people. Lv 1 Air Manse
  • Kosasu- 2602 people. Lv 1 Earth Manse
  • Expeditious- 2020 people. Lv 1 Air Manse

Villages: 177,000 people

  • 450 villages, give or take a hundred. These tend to range 300-500 people, though they can range from 20-1000 at extremes. That’s a village for every 430 square miles (23 miles between each town if they were evenly spread out), though only 2 square miles are used for agriculture each.

Arbitrarily calculated Lookshy area

This is probably what the lands around Lookshy looked like during the Shogunate, before the Great Contagion. I did this before realizing how sparsely populated Creation was.

194,000 square miles same as the historic Iowa Territory outside Lookshy that are superficially independent. Near 1,358,000 people live in these Lookshy Protectorates.

There are 2 cities, 16 towns, and three thousand villages covering the Protectorates. They are more densely clustered along the three big roads leading out of Lookshy, or along one of the 4 greater rivers (River of Dying Mercies, Naru River, the Uyotamon, and the Ululating River) as well as along the Yanaze. Almost every settlement has a river or creek running through it, as well as a manse that is undoubtedly claimed by one of Lookshy's DBs.

Cities: 26,212 people

  • Fusuro- 17,475 people. Level 4 Fire Manse
  • Largess- 8,737 people. Level 2 Wood Manse

Towns: 75,534 people

  • Parvenu- 7937 people. Level 1 Air Manse
  • Kosasu- 7930 people. Level 1 Earth Manse
  • 14 other towns with 1016-7785 people.

Villages: 1,256,254 people

  • 3100 villages, give or take a thousand. These tend to range 300-500 people, though they can range from 20-1000 at extremes. That’s a village for every 63 square miles, though only 1.5 square miles are used for agriculture. Walks between villages average nine miles.

Deez Notes Rule Da World

  • Noble Saynismuth welcomes Er'hatan's men. He is completely formal and unimaginative, very practical.
  • Noble Kaladth falls ill, and opposes Sun Lions' hiring. he is known to commonly offer dissent to whatever the majority agrees on, a devil's advocate.
  • Noble Serkinoth falls ill and opposes as well.
  • Noble Drath is still well, but opposes Sun Lions. She is narrow-minded and lazy, but optimistic that problem can be handled internally.
