Words of Stone and Steel:

  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Simple
  • Minimum Presence: 5
  • Minimum Essence: 4
  • Prerequisite: Harmonious Presence Meditation

The Exalted using this charm’s arguments seem sound and assured. Her voice is steeled with the power of reason. While this charm is in effect she may add her Essence in automatic successes to any Presence, Bureaucracy or Socialize roll.

Battle Drive Draining Embrace

  • Cost: 3 motes, 1 wp
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Simple
  • Minimum Presence: 5
  • Minimum Essence: 3
  • Prerequisite: Listener-Swaying Argument

Using Presence as a tool of persuasion, the character invoking this charm approaches her target and embraces him by surrounding him with her personality and draining his drive to oppose her. No physical contact is actually necessary. The target then rolls Conviction, difficulty equal to the character's Essence. If the target is unsuccessful, he loses his urge to fight or stand against her, though to regain his drive he must spend a turn contemplating it, and roll Conviction again at standard difficulty. If the target botches, he loses his urge completely and becomes almost friendly to the character. If the character should use Battle Drive Draining Embrace on a target and then attack him, he immediately regains his drive to oppose her. Characters can only embrace targets within their Essence in yards.

Glorious and Fearsome Soul-Freezing Aura

  • Cost: 15 motes, 1 willpower
  • Duration: One Scene
  • Type: Simple
  • Minimum Presence:5
  • Minimum Essence:5
  • Prerequisite: Terrifying Apparition of Glory

Essence collects around the character, transfiguring her into an apparition impossible to behold or to stand against. As with Terrifying Apparition of Glory, targets that are not actively hostile must make a conviction roll—difficulty 3—not to immediately obey any non-suicidal order that the character gives. This compulsion lasts for a scene after the target leaves the Exalt’s presence. Those that are actively hostile must make a Valor roll—difficulty 2—not to flee the character’s wrathful and terrifying presence. Those that manage to screw up the courage to face her are shaken to the core and are at a dice penalty equal to her Essence to all attacks/parries/dodges. The chilling penetration of her gaze roots the target to the spot, subtracting 3 from his initiative. The dice penalties apply only to the Exalted using this charm. Those who have beheld the user of Glorious and Fearsome Soul-Freezing Aura may attack other targets at their full dice pools. This does not stack with Terrifying Apparition of Glory.
