Should the Lunar suceed she shifts her victim's form to any other she can think of. Each success past the roll's difficulty translates into a single Mutation Point the Lunar can use to shift the victim into another shape (this may be any shape the Lunar can dream of, not limited to those in the Lunar's ''Blood Library'' - each change in size costs 2 Mutation Points.) Thus a man can be transformed into a Rat for the cost of 7 Mutation Points (4 to go from normal size to ''Tiny'', 2 for ''No Manipulators'' and 1 for ''Fur''.) Victims with Awakened Essence may deny them by taking a number of Health Levels of Lethal Damage equal to the Mutation Points that would be inflicted in their form.

Blood Reshaping

Blood Reshaping Technique
Cost: 5 motes, 1 willpower, 1 Health Level
Duration: Instant
Type: Simple
Minimum Manipulation: 2
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: None
Granting a taste of her blood to another the Lunar may alter her form as per Shaping the Ideal Form. Those alterations require a Manipulation + Craft(Shapeshifting). Minor, purely cosmetical alterations require a roll at standard difficulty. Radical change requires a roll at difficulty 3. Complete change requires a roll at difficulty 5. Subjects with Awakened Essence add their Essence Rating to the difficulty of this roll - it is harder to change a shape that is so rooted in their own pattern.

The change lasts for a full Lunar Phase and cannot be used on unwilling subjects.

The Lunar may stipulate a trigger for the changes to recede - At the stroke of Midnight or When kissed by a Princess are but some examples. The subject of the changes may wish to make them permanent if she wishes should he fully embrace them. This Charm can serve to increase a subject's Appearance rating - the cost remains the same but all Training Time is waived. It can also give the subject an entirely new identity - although this costs the Lunar 1 Experience Point.

Wondrous Lunar Transformation
Cost: 10 motes, 1 willpower, 1 Health Level
Duration: Instant
Type: Simple
Minimum Manipulation: 4
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Blood Reshaping Technique
Granting a taste of her blood to another the Lunar may make major alterations to her shape. This allows the Lunar to turn the subject into any shape on his Blood Library, shift the subject's gender or grant the subject any Mutation the Lunar desires. Those changes require a Manipulation + Craft(Shapeshifting) roll with a difficulty of the subject's Essence plus...

  • ... 2 when shifting the subject into a member of the same species.
  • ... 3 when shifting the subject into a member of a different species.
  • ... +1 for each size difference between the subject and his new shape.

The change lasts for a full Lunar Phase and cannot be used on unwilling subjects.

The Lunar may stipulate a trigger for the changes to recede - At Dawn or When Declaring Independence are but some examples. The subject of the changes may wish to make them permanent if she wishes should he fully embrace them - this costs Experience points equal to the Mutation value of their new form.

Luna's Command
Cost: None
Duration: Permanent
Type: Special
Minimum Manipulation: 5
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Wondrous Lunar Transformation
Lunars are lords of all shape. If a Lunar so wishes all shape around her is dictated by her will and her will alone. This Charm enhances Blood-Reshaping Technique and Wondrous Lunar Transformation, making them work on unwilling subjects if the Lunar doubles their Essence when calculating the Difficulty rating of the change.

Change of Five Moons
Cost: None
Duration: Permanent
Type: Special
Minimum Manipulation: 5
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Wondrous Lunar Transformation
All changes last only until Luna herself decides to cast aside her self. But Lunars are as crafty as their patron and may set their changes not to fade with her whims but with a full cycle of her grace. This Charm enhances Blood-Reshaping Technique and Wondrous Lunar Transformation, making them last for a Lunar Month instead of a Lunar Phase.

Hold the World
Cost: 2 motes 1 willpower
Duration: Indefinite
Type: Simple
Minimum Manipulation: 5
Minimum Essence: 4
Prerequisite Charms: Change of Five Moons, Luna's Command
Internalizing the twelve principles of all change a Lunar is able to hold back change as well as cause it!

To use Hold the World the Lunar must hold a subject for a number of minutes equal to the subject's Essence rating. During this period silver marks travel from the Lunar to the subject, shining upon her flesh in a similar manner as a Lunar's Moonsilver Tattoos. Thereafter, as long as the motes for Hold the World remain committed nothing can change the subject's Shape unless the Lunar wills it. The subject is locked in her present shape.

This Charm explicitly allows for Lunar Shapeshifting charms to last as long as the motes remain committed.

Blood Wax Technique
Cost: 5 motes, 1 Health Level
Duration: Instant
Type: Supplemental
Minimum Manipulation: 4
Minimum Essence: 4
Prerequisite Charms: Blood Reshaping Technique
Hand coated in blood the Lunar's touch shapes away flesh and bone alike as if they were but wet clay.

For the masters of Shapesifting flesh is but melting max. This Charm enhances an unarmed attack. This attack does no damage. Should the attack enhanced by Blood Wax suceed the Lunar rolls her Manipulation+Craft (Shapeshifting) at a difficulty equal to her victim's Essence rating. Each success scored in this roll can decrease one of the Strength, Dexterity, Stamina, Appearance or Perception of the victim by one point. Tendons become as withered vines, flesh as melting wax, eyes shaped away and bones twisted with a mere touch.

Instead of removing Attribute dots the Lunar may instead use two successes to wither a single limb or remove a single sense(The organ tends to be removed with it: the mouth is melted together in the face, eyes vanish, a nose is shifted into a third eye.) A Lunar can reduce a victim's Attributes down to zero.

Victims reduced to zero Strength may not carry or lift anything but the lightest cloth.
Victims reduced to zero Dexterity may not move; Victims reduced to zero stamina fall into a coma.
Victims reduced to zero appearance become twisted monsters.
Victims reduced to zero Perception loses almost all of their senses, retaining only tact to navigate their way.

The changes brought by Blood Wax last a single Lunar Phase on Supernatural beings - however, they are permanent on Mortals.

Touch of Luna
Cost: 10 motes, 1 willpower, 1 Health Level
Duration: Instant
Type: Simple
Minimum Manipulation: 5
Minimum Essence: 5
Prerequisite Charms: Blood Wax Technique
Wreathing her hand in coruscating silver Essence the Lunar is able to shift another's form at her whims!

This Charm enhances an unarmed attack. This attack does no damage. Should the attack enhanced by Blood Wax suceed the Lunar rolls her Manipulation+Craft (Shapeshifting) at a difficulty equal to her victim's Essence rating. Willing victims add one success to this roll.

Should the Lunar suceed she shifts her victim's form to any other she can think of. Each success past the roll's difficulty translates into a single Mutation Point the Lunar can use to shift the victim into another shape (this may be any shape the Lunar can dream of, not limited to those in the Lunar's Blood Library - each change in size costs 2 Mutation Points.) Thus a man can be transformed into a Rat for the cost of 7 Mutation Points (4 to go from normal size to Tiny, 2 for No Manipulators and 1 for Fur.) Victims with Awakened Essence may deny them by taking a number of Health Levels of Lethal Damage equal to the Essence of their Lunar assailant.

The change lasts for a full Lunar Phase.

The Lunar may stipulate a trigger for the changes to recede - When spilled with wine or When mortally wounded are but some examples. The subject of the changes may wish to make them permanent if she wishes should he fully embrace them - this costs Experience points equal to the Mutation value of their new form. Those Mutations are Wyld, however, as the Lunar's blood always possess some of the changing essence of chaos which Luna loves.

Shaping the Once-Living Form
Cost: 5 motes, 1 willpower, 1 Health Level
Duration: Indefinite
Type: Simple
Minimum Manipulation: 3
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: Blood Reshaping Technique
With this Charm, the Lunar can reshape inert once-living material into another form.

He can turn a fallen tree into a shelter, a bone into a weapon or hide into clothing.

The Lunar cannot shape objects that are already under the influence of Sorcery or Charms. The material to be shaped must be covered into the Lunar's blood for a cost of 1 Health Level of Lethal Damage. Once touched by this blood the Lunar rolls Manipulation+Craft(Shapeshifting) with a difficulty equal to twice the Resources cost of the resulting item. The shaped form dissolves into its original shape when the Lunar ends this Charm.

Weapon-Shaping Method
Cost: 3 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: One Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Manipulation: 3
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Shaping the Once-Living Form
The Lunar picks any piece of once-living material such as Wood or Bone and transforms it into a weapon.

The Lunar may reflexively roll Manipulation+Craft(Shapeshifting) with a Difficulty equal to the Resources cost of the weapon to be made. A single success creates a Serviceable Weapon, whereas three successes creates an Exceptional Weapon and Five Successes creates a Perfect Weapon. The Lunar can create Throwing Knives as easily as Swords using this Charm but cannot use this Reflexive Action more times per turn than her Manipulation score.

The Storyteller may allow for extra abilities when shaping something of legendary materaisl such as the roots of a Heart Tree, a Tooth of the Yellow Wyrm or the body of a splinter of Mokrelus... the most obvious type of extra power being to allow the Lunar to roll the Artifact cost of the weapon instead of Resources or just gives the mundane weapon the abilities of an Artifact *. The weapons created by this Charm dissolve at the end of the Scene.

Mountains of Scattered Ashes
Cost: None
Duration: Permanent
Type: Special
Minimum Manipulation: 4
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Shaping the Once-Living Form
As a Lunar can grow to a Grasshopper to a Tyrant Lizard so do the materials they work on with their blood become able to grow to truly titanic heights! This Charm enhances Shaping the Once-Living Form and can be purchased three times.

Purchased once it allows the Lunar to increase the once-living material from small shapes to a human-sized shape.
Purchased twice it allows smaller materials to become as large as a grand room or small house.
Purhcased thrice it allows the Lunar to enlarge the once-living things until they take the size of a palace.

Each of those enhancements increase the cost of Shaping the Once-Living Form by 2 Health Levels per level used.

Twigs to Steel Transformation
Cost: None
Duration: Permanent
Type: Special
Minimum Manipulation: 4
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Shaping the Once-Living Form
With a flare of silver light even the weakest materials become serviceable to a Lunar. Twigs become as greatswords; the bone of mice become great spears; threads of blood become chains, dry and dead wood becomes the resilient walls of a mighty rampart!

For a cost of 1 extra Willpower the Lunar can make any once-living material he works with as hard the shape it takes, be it wood or rock or metal. It also allows success in excess of difficulty in the Craft (Shapeshifting) roll to create Exceptional or Perfect items with the usual thresholds but requiring no longer than they otherwise would. If the item is made of an unusual material and hardened it may receive abilities comparable to an Artifact * - to Illustrate how a sword of blood strikes in a more fluid way, for example.

Blossom the Argent Life
Cost: 20 motes, 1+ Health Level
Duration: One Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Manipulation: 5
Minimum Essence: 5
Prerequisite Charms: Shaping the Once-Living Form
Through Luna's connection to all living things through her Mate a Lunar can call upon Gaia's grace and create life!

Using this Charm the Lunar can create a number of living beings from once-living material equal to her Essence for every Health Level spent in the invocation of this Charm. Huge beings require a single health level to create a single exemplar whereas miniscule beings come as a swarm for every health level spent.

Those living beings are mundane in all ways and shall never disobey the Lunar. They break down into unliving material at the end of the scene.
