This weapon is a simple number of weights bound together. If the user makes an attack with a plus 2 difficulty, they entangle the target's arms or legs (within reason). This is effectively a non-damaging clinch attack with a pool of successes (equal to the extra successes of the attack roll) that the target drains away till there are none, meaning they are free. Depending on the construction of the bola, it can also be broken with an appropriate feat of strength.

Despite it's flimsy and insubstantial appearence, this long, flexible sword can be quite deadly in the hands of a trained swordsman.  A yard of double edged steel no more than a finger's width with a needle point forms the blade of this weapon, usually attached to a highly ornate hilt.

Whips are used to drive slaves and livestock all over Creation, but it takes a special kind of warrior to turn one into a deadly weapon.  Whips can be used to disarm and grapple opponents, as well as used to swing across gaps and climb short distances.
