− | To clarify: Don't use spaces in page names - WordsJammedTogether make links; use sub-pages - create a link by putting <nowiki>TaleOfTwoEmpresses/AllTheReasonsWhy</nowiki> in a page; read the source of pre-existing wiki pages for hints and tips - like how to make PrettyLinks. - <i>edumacational</i> [[Moxiane]]

− | Basically, Lynne, BestPractices is a set of guidelines so the wiki will be semi-organized. This page is bad, for example, because it's "All The Reasons Why" for what? Upon reading, it's for a list of IC reason for your character to be against a specific thing. This should belong in a subpage under your page. Incidentally, we also don't bother with underscores, because the wiki format likes WordsJammedTogether. So your personal wikipage should be ShadowLynne, and this page should be under ShadowLynne/AllTheReasonsWhy.

− | In summary, when you start a new page, you should consider, "Is this a community project useful/interesting for everyone or is it a personal project of interest only to me and maybe my gaming group?" If it's the former, go ahead and start a new top-level page. If it's the latter, you should make it a subpage of your personal wikipage. Your own wikipage then can be used as a spring-board or index to get to your subpages. - TonyC, who doesn't think A Tale of Two Empresses belong in a top page anyway.
