Chimera

: Your ties to the madness of the Wyld and the indecipherable culture of the Raksha. Gives you access to Raksha artifacts/glamour/charms/backgrounds? Pacts/oaths with Raksha? A forged grace at fifth dot?

Renown

: Essentially just a renamed version of Reputation. (see E:tDB pg. 160), Renown measures your face in barbarian culture. The Lunar may add his Renown in dice to any social pools when his reputation would be relevant to his current situation.

:: x You are Urrach-Ya, The Nonperson. You have no standing in barbarian culture, no face. You are one among the many.

:: o You have acted in a way that sets you aside from those around you. You are now considered Nain-Ya, The Kin. Your people come to you for answers, and you gladly give them.

:: oo You are now a cultural pillar, an important part of the story of those who you've come from. You are now Uf-Ya, The Honored, and you will always have a place with your people.

:: ooo You have made a place for yourself at the top of your culture. You are the hero of countless tales of blood, glory, and cunning. You are Ikth-Ya, The Respected.

:: oooo You are Murr-Ya, The Revered, and you are the god-hero of a nation. Every tale told by your people involves you in one way or another. You weigh heavily on the hearts and minds of all.

:: ooooo You are now Shahan-Ya, The Greatest, and your title is considered humble when held up to the tales told of your deeds. The people of distant cultures come to your lands to see if you are more than just legend.

Totem

: A Lunar may take on certain taboos and follow certain ritualistic behaviors to attune his protean form to the Essence of a spirit patron in a manner more permanent than Shintai and shapeshifting can offer. The spirit the Lunar honors is generally that of an animal the Lunar feels a certain affinity with, but is not always necessarily so. The more synchronized with his spirit mentor that the Lunar becomes, the harsher and more regimented his actions must become. With this calcification of Luna's Essence, however, the Lunar begins to develop what Elders refer to as The Tell, an unchangeable element of the Lunar that will mark him for all his countless days. Any character attempting to identify who or what the Lunar is adds the Lunar's Totem to his dice pool before rolling.

:: x You have no spirit patron. You remain as quicksilver in nature as ever.

:: o You tread lightly along the first steps of the path of your totem spirit, adopting a small number of inconsequential taboos in order to gain power from his Essence. The Lunar's Tell begins to form, but is minor and difficult to spot.

:: oo You have set yourself to learning under you patron spirit. Your taboos and rituals become more pronounced, as does The Tell of the Lunar.

:: ooo You are now the greatest shaman of your totem, the most dedicated of its followers. Your taboos have become restrictive enough to require constant attention now, but the fruits of your labour are plainly seen.

:: oooo You are an equal with your mentor, you teach him as he teaches you. You have begun to take on elements of his heavenly nature. You gain the Dematerialize spirit charm, ignoring any prerequisites. Your taboos make you alien, difficult to interact with in any meaningful way. The Tell you carry is unforgettably and unmistakeably yours, and is seen by almost all.

:: ooooo The student becomes the master. You have surpassed your teacher and become much more and much less than you once were under him. You are now, in many ways, a spirit yourself, and any charms or spells targetting said creatures specifically consider you as such, in addition to a Lunar Exalted. The Tell is now a fundamental part of you, and is for all intents and purposes impossible to miss.

Haven't started Chimera, need to give Fair Folk another quick run through. Totem is also lacking in most of its mechanical benefits at this point in time, so it will have to be revised as well. ~ AppleDog
