What I intend to create here is a set of continuous Abyssal adversaries, like the boss characters in a videogame, in that the Solars (or whatnot) will do Adventure Phase One, then confront one of these, Adventure Phase Two, confront one of these, et cetera.

Inspired by the enemy 4 enemy ninjas from Tenchu 2 and from the Cobras from MGS3.

Please, if you want, tell me how its working out.

I did the same thing with one of my stories. I suggest giving each a unique martial arts style, or a different and weird way of fighting. Have you played the original Metal Gear Solid? One of the best sets of villians ever -[[Paladinltd]]

Even assuming you don't want to make them a perfect Abyssal circle (one of each caste), wouldn't it be better to go with the Five Unspeakable Ronin? Exalted has a five thing going on. -[[Seraph]]

 -True, true. Ah well. -[[CaptainPenguin]]

:Just make the first two the lower-Essence Abyssal henchmen of the Circle. - [[szilard]]

 -Interesting, interesting... But I dunno'.

I actually intended to have the Faceless and the Hatamoto be more powerful than the others. The Faceless is my answer to Grey Fox, in that he is a mysterious individual somewhat outside the general circle. -[[CaptainPenguin]]

Actually, couldn't you have one of them be a lacky, cannon fodder (or, hell, a secret goodguy who turns traitor and dies on the PCs side), and have another ACTUALLY be the deathlord in disguise? Then you could add all sorts of forshadowing (astrology, precognitive dreams, etc) pointing to the Five Unspeakable Ronin and your players will be confused and happy. -[[Seraph]]

I like that, too. Dammit! So... Many... Good... Ideas... Aaargh! -[[CaptainPenguin]]

If you run out of ideas, go through the Seven Deadly Sins. Gluttony, anger, envy, lust, pride, greed, and sloth. -[[Qzujak49]]
