The number of Charms the Solars know is also finite. At the same time, at Essence 5, they *will* have filled out all of their basic competencies. They'll be able to deal with everything he throws at them---not necessarily *well*, but they won't get caught without a reflexive dodge against an unblockable attack, etc. There will be someone who can deal with any individual trick he pulls, from Essence Absorbing Stance to Iphimedeia. | The number of Charms the Solars know is also finite. On Relative Power of a 300 Solar Death Squad VS. CK
Hm!
Personally, I would bet on the 300 Solars. My reasoning runs roughly as follows:
It's easy to hypothesize an easy SMA counter for any tactic the Solars come up with. And if such a thing exists, then, yes, it's been stated Chejop would have it. However, in the final analysis, Chejop knows a finite number of Charms. There are only so many super-martial-arts. Not all of them work together perfectly, and few are really optimized for this kind of fight. There might be something better than PAoCF for harmonizing martial arts abilities, but not so much better as to remove choices---he's still going to limit his ability to use some SMA by favoring others.
In my head, this makes this fight the equivalent of a human against 300 cats, not a human against 300 ants. He can't simply *squoosh* them, so he'll get overwhelmed.
Disclaimer: despite 'defense trumps offense', there may be a few Essence 9-10 tricks which you really need Essence 6 to stop. I explicitly assume that even Chejop has very few MA Charms at the Essence 9-10 level---few enough that it's reasonable to imagine artifacts and summoned demons/elementals and such that can stop them.
