Burning the Threads of Fate</b>

The threads of fate that map out the life of a person and weave the person into the web that makes up reality and history are fragile indeed. Learning this technique, a Sidereal permanently burns away much of his connection to the weave of time and forever blurs himself in the memory of Creation. All characters with an Essence less then 3 must make a Wits + Occult roll at difficulty 3 to remember the Sidereal in detail. This roll must be made one day, one week, one month, one season and one year after meeting the Sidereal. If all these rolls are successful, the memory is permanent. Otherwise, memory of the Sidereal fades to an indistinct and generic blur. Objects recording the Sidereal's presence roll a single die if they are mundane and casual in nature, 3 if they are mundane and meticulous, 5 dice if they are magical and casual and 10 if they are meticulous magical constructs.
