| − | When demons in Malfeas wish to speak with their masters but dare not offend them with their presence, they soak a snake's shed skin with the blood of their bodies, and upon this skin they write a prayer. Bihmardi, a ruby-eyed serpent of mist and flame, gathers these prayers and distributes them as is proper, for it knows how their recipients will react; it decides which to keep, which to send on their way, and which to misdirect. Sometimes, Bihmardi appears as a sheikh and his harem; they can be known for immortals by the smoke that issues from their eyes, and because they all speak with one voice, and respond to questions before they can be asked.
