Made of dirt and sod, Tilled Earth Woman taught mortal men to reap the harvest of the earth, to grow maize and wheat and barley. She taught many arts of thaumaturgy to men and women, secret lore to make the earth yield more and more plentifully. In visage, she is a human woman of lush beauty yet middle age, made of sod, dirt, and soil. Her hair is made of leaves, and her eyes are made of amber sap. Her voice is the voice of the earth itself, solid, unyielding, and unflinching.
