:To be honest, I feel it's overpriced for its effects. Where does it fit in the Melee tree? It's defensive cousins are Bulwark Stance and Heavenly Guardian. Bulawark costs 5m and prevents your DV from being modified until your next DV refresh. Heavenly Guardian costs 4m and blocks a single attack. Wall of Steel Threads is a hybrind: Though it is perfect, it only lasts for a tick. Calling it 4-5m and 1 Willpower would make more sense to me. The idea of balancing it by making it cost 8 or 9 motes keeps popping up in my head, but I don't know how I feel about that.-[[Ambisinister]] | :To be honest, I feel it's overpriced for its effects. Solar Melee Charms
Wall Of Steel Threads
Cost: 5 motes, 1 Willpower; Mins: Melee 5, Essence 3; Type: Reflexive (Step 2) Keywords: Combo-OK, Obvious Duration: Instant Prerequisites: Heavenly Guardian Defense
The power of the Solar Exalted is vast, and there is no blow that cannot be stopped. Sometimes, however, enemies try to overwhelm the Lawgiver with simple numbers, sending wave after wave of attacks towards them. Through this Charm, the character learns to parry every drop of a rainstorm, remaining dry.
The character may activate this Charm in response to any attack of which she is aware, provided that she has an object to defend herself with. She perfectly defends against that attack, and against all further attacks by the same attacker in the tick in which this Charm is activated. This Charm can defend against attacks that cannot normally be parried; it suffers from one of the Four Flaws of Invunerability as usual for Solar effects. As with Heavenly Guardian Defense, a character who parries particularly powerful attacks with non-magical weapons may find their weapon destroyed at the end of the tick.

Technically, Wall of Steel Threads is weaker than Bottomless Depths, since it only protects against one person, but it also costs less, so I'm not sure. Thoughts? - FrivYeti
