The character is a savant of artificery, able to rapidly and easily develop new artifact plans. This Charm may be activated whenever the character is required to make a research roll in order to design an artifact from reconstruction, from an existing example, or from scratch. The character may purchase up to her relevant Trait + Essence in automatic successes. (For example, when making an Intelligence + Occult roll to design an artifact from an existing example, a character may purchase up to her Essence + Occult in successes.)

The character spins through her research with breakneck speed, designing and reconstructing artifacts as though she knew them already. This Charm may be activated whenever the character is required to make a research roll in order to design an artifact from reconstruction, from an existing example, or from scratch. Instead of the roll requiring a week of study or design, it requires only one day of effort.

Savant Craftsman Method

Prerequisites: Craftsman Needs No Tools

To a master craftsman, time is not an issue. The Exalt may forge a work of wonder in no more time than most set down to work. The character may compress a full month's worth of work into a single day (that is, twelve hours of hard labour). Due to the speed with which they work, however, they may not work with any assistants that are not able to maintain the same breakneck pace (generally only Exalts with powerful Charms, and strong demons or gods).
