The somewhat misnamed Ride ability represents a character's ability to dominate lesser entities. It is mostly used to control mounts, but is also employed when ghosts possess people and so on. It also sees some use in controlling personal vehicles. It is used for:
- 1E caste/aspect ability for: Dawn, Dusk, Wood, Journeys
- 2E caste/aspect ability for: Dawn, Dusk, Wood, Journeys
- Fighting on horseback (ex2e.110, 154)
- Riding
- Possession
