Stealth Adaptation Net
Artifact: ••••
Attune: 6 motes
Designed in the First Age these artifacts were always made of the mutable magical metal Moonsilver. Primarily used by Lunar assassins some few were used by the other Celestials and even elite Terrestials at times. It looked like a fine wire net or mesh of moonsilver threads and was designed to be worn atop the flesh with nothing overtop it. When worn and properly attuned the mesh makes the wearer almost impossible to detect. They seem to fade from view or look like some common object they are near. Scents are dulled or mimic that of things around them. Sounds are muffled. Even taste and the touch of the character is changed to prevent discovery.
The greatest main effect of this is that during combat once per action the character may reflexively make a stealth roll to once again re-establish surprise and stealth. This allows a character in combat to strike then hide without leaving himself open to attacks. Due to the powers of the Net this does not give the observers any bonus to finding him.
Anytime the character is actual using an action to hide the net adds 4 successes to the roll. Scents, sounds, images and all that do not add any special advantage to finding him. Anyone trying to track the character must be able to track supernaturally and even charms which permit this the tracker finds the difficulty of such rolls raised by 4. Furthermore the five basic senses are not the only ones this suit helps to hide a character from. Charms which involve essence sight do not gain any special bonus to spot the character in this suit.
The mesh itself being made of the material moonsilver can flex and harden and shape itself to a minor degree to help to protect the one wearing it. This is a 6B/6L soak which does not count as armor for purposes of charms which do not work in armor.
