A small and simple residence by the standards of Yu-Shan, this bazaar is a riot of colors and patterns, with covered stalls and elaborate tents set up in a mind-whirling maze of brightly colored cloth. The paths between the various stalls and tents are cobbled in hunks of gold the size of a man's outspread hand. In the center of the Bazaar lays a small square surrounded by shops made of adobe stained with various colors and studded with brilliant gems and precious metals. These shops provide the eating, sleeping and secure storage of the Manse. The Hearthstone, a [[HearthStones/IkselamSolar | Thrifty Merchant's Stone]], forms in the top bowl of an elaborate, multi-tiered fountain in the square's center. Only from above can the geomantic layout of the Bazaar truly be appreciated as the riot of color becomes a fascinating collection of symbols and patterns, converging on the center square.

This multifaceted stone looks much like a chunk of pyrite, but shines much more brightly. It allows its wearer to instantaneously assess the fair market value of any material item placed before him. This assessment is totally objective; it does not take into account the local economic climate (although sweeping economic change across a vast portion of Creation would influence the estimate), or any sentimental value the item may have to a few specific people (although if an item has great historical value, it will be factored into the assessment).

**From long association with darkness, Thon’s anima warns him of the approach of unclean creatures. His Castemark glows silver-gold and his anima swirls faintly with silent ghosts.
 
 
 
*Unusual Appearance (2 point flaw)
 
**Fathered by a guardian ghost and raised in a tomb, Thon has a striking appearance. Gaunt and corded with wiry muscle he might be attractive to some, but many find his chalk-white skin and ashen black-grey hair to be unnerving. His eyes adapted for years to the darkness and are perpetually dilated, large black pupils with only a tiny rim of grey-blue iris.

**A result of so many years in a dark tomb, Thon’s eyes have lost the ability to contract the pupil when light strikes them. In bright lights he suffers a -2 penalty to awareness rolls and if struck directly by lights of extraordinary intensity, he must make a Perception + Endurance roll to avoid being stunned for a turn. His own anima does not hurt his eyes. It takes no time at all for Thon’s eyes to adjust to darkness, but he sees no better in the night then anyone else.
