+ | The Lunar's experience with the Wyld makes them very unhappily familiar with madness. Weaving a scene with words, gestures and convenient props, the character introduces his target to one of the many insanities found in the wyld. With the end of his speech, the character inflicts the insanity on the target. The Lunar rolls Manipulation+Presence with a difficulty equal to the target's willpower. Success allows the player to name one abnormality of the mind, a strong obssession, phobia or similar malady, whose mutation points would not be higher than the success margin. The target may spend a point of willpower to ignore the effects of the madness for a scene. After subduing the insanity for more scenes than twice the Lunar's Essence, this effect ceases. The Lunar may pay 1 willpower to use this Charm against a group. |

Emotion
Perfect Fear Scent
Cost: 4 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: One Scene
Type: Supplemental
Minimum Charisma: 2
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: Primal Charisma
Reaching to the feral side of the mind Lunars drive all most primal fears in the open!
This Charm supplements a social roll to rouse fear on a target. Anyone within it with a willpower less than the number of successes accumulated in the roll is overwhelmed by fear and depending on their disposition may scurry to leave the Lunar's presence, be frozen in fear or become unusually compliant to the Lunar's demands. A target may spend 1 willpower for every two successes the Lunar achieved in the roll past their willpower to throw off this effect. Targets in combat with the Exalt may be just as likely to throw themselves in suicidal charges as they are to surrender themselves - this Charm is better used with care.
This roll is made at +1 difficulty for every 20 individuals affected by it.
Mind-Blanking Fear Technique
Cost: 10 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: Instant
Type: Simple
Minimum Charisma: 3
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Perfect Fear Scent
The Lunar's force of personality is so great that it may break the minds of his lessers. Shifting details of his shape into those of primordial force and feral might the Lunar assaults the animal portion of another's mind and soul to the point where they will just attempt to deny their memories of the encounter, their minds muddled by a vague, yet overwhelming, recollection of utter fear.
This Charm generates a Charisma+Presence roll that has a Difficulty of the victim's Willpower score. If this roll is successful the Lunar makes the victim forget his Essence Score in turns prior and after the use of this Charm. This only affects memories however - a victim engaged in combat will remain fighting until as she would otherwise, even if she will only recall that fight as a dim, terrifying memory.
Victims of this Charm can Stunt and spent 1 willpower to receive vague remembrances of the facts. Those who do this receive the equivalent of the Nightmares Flaw for a week thereafter as the memory now unearthed comes to haunt them with the Lunar's terrifying form.
Fear of Truth
Cost: 5 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Charisma: 5
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Mind-Blanking Fear Technique
Some men are cunning enough to pierce the veil and behold the Lunar's Tell, the anchor of their True Soul, and expose a Moonchild for what they truly are... but the Lunar's authority over the world allows them to silence even those cunning heroes with their terrifying might!
This Charm can be activated at the moment an opponent notices the Lunar's Tell and generates a Charisma+Presence roll that has a Difficulty of the victim's Willpower score. If this roll is successful the Lunar silences this opponent with the crippling fear of telling this truth to others lest his life be forfeit. Further, victims of this Charm need suceed a Valor roll at Difficulty 2 to initiate any physical action against the Lunar and halve the difficulty of all of the Lunar's intimidation attempts - they have been broken with the knowledge that the Lunar is a dangerous Exalted being.
The victim can make a Valor roll every dawn - as soon as he has accumulated as many successes in those rolls as the Lunar had in silencing him the effects of this Charm are broken and he becomes able to speak to all about what he has seen. Should one of those Valor rolls be a botch the victim will be unable to roll again for an entire Lunar month however.
Predator's Glory Stance
Cost: 10 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: One Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Charisma: 5
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Mind-Blanking Fear Technique
With subtle shifts to her form the Lunar becomes the visage of the perfect predator, daunting to look at and even more terrifying to cross! All those who can feel fear increase their Difficulty to strike the Lunar by an ammount equal to her Essence Rating. This penalty can be alleviated with the expenditure of 1 Willpower. All Extras beholding the Lunar must suceed on a Valor roll at Difficulty 2 or be unable to take any actions against the Lunar. A botch makes them run away or lose their minds in fright.
This Charm is a Rage and can be activated in tandem with Relentless Lunatic Fury for 4 motes giving its benefits for the duration.
False Burrow Pursuit
Cost: 4 motes
Duration: One Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Manipulation: 2
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: None
The Lunar's magic brings a specific point or detail to the forefront of his target's mind and makes it seem impotant. The player rolls Manipulation+Presence at a difficulty equal to the target's Perception or Ability relevant to the conversation at hand. The Ability depends on what the Lunar deems to make significant: Awareness for a visual detail or scent, Socialize or Bureaucracy for particular wordings and Melee to notice something about a person's blade katas, for example. On a success, the target catches the detail and simply knows it is important. The target can throw off this effect by paying 1 willpower for every success the Lunar achieved in the roll.
Primal Lust Infliction
Cost: 4 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: One Scene
Type: Supplemental
Minimum Manipulation: 3
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: False Burrow Pursuit
Reaching to the feral side of the mind Lunars bring out the most primal desires in those that hear their words!
This Charm supplements a social roll to rouse emotions of hunger, lust or any other sort of physical craving in a target. Anyone within it with a willpower less than the number of successes accumulated in the roll are overwhelmed by this craving and must pursue it by any means they see fit. A target may spend 1 willpower for every two successes the Lunar achieved in the roll past their willpower to throw off this effect.
This roll is made at +1 difficulty for every 20 individuals affected by it.
Ideal Mate's Instinct
Cost: 10 motes, 1 willpower, 1 health level
Duration: Instant
Type: Simple
Minimum Manipulation: 3
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Primal Lust Infliction
Tasting the blood of a victim and making the victim taste his blood (or sweat, saliva, strand of hair or anything else wether they perceive it or not) the Lunar attunes himself to the victim's instincts and most primal desires, shaping his form to match every single one. Thereafter the victim must suceed in a Temperance roll at standard Difficulty not to pursue the Lunar - at +2 Difficulty if the Lunar makes outward advances towards her. She also increases the Difficulty of all Mental tasks by the Lunar's Essence as long as the Lunar is where she can see or otherwise perceive him.
The victim can spend 1 willpower to prevent herself from giving in. Spending Willpower equal to the Lunar's Essence Score in this manner ends the effects of this Charm. There will always be some part of the victim that will react to the Lunar although this might sour the victim on him - even if the victim does not know shapechanging magic was involved (as her behavior under the effects of this Charm will appear perfectly natural, if overwhelming) few rational beings like to give in to their basest instincts.
This Charm has no effect on automata, ghosts, or other beings that possess no response to pheromones.
It does, however, affect Gods, Demons and embodied Raksha if the Lunar can be considered of the right species.
Mirror Sight Dismay
