The Player's Comments: Guardian was built to be uber. I love his character concept, and I hope to use him in an up-comming campaign called "End of the Second Age".

=== Expanded Advantages ===

*Aquaintences - Gate possesses a fair number of people whom he has associated briefly with. I use the sidereal version of the charm because it makes a great deal more sense for the relationships he carries on.

*Artifact - The various items that he carries are all from his days as a loyal Deathknight - and, even in Gate's mind, still the property of his master.

*Necromancy - Without a doubt, even from his amnesiatic state, Gate is an amazingly skilled Necromancer. If this came during life, or during death, however, he isn't sure.

*Resources - Quite simply, Gate's only real worry is food, allowing him to save much of his cash. He occasionally sells the services of his sword, takes from the tombs he'll dwell in, or banish ghosts for money.

=== Background ===

In life, Justice Bringing Sword was a warrior of his people. He was a calm, just man, and a rock of support for everyone he lived and worked with. Upon a routine hunt, he returned home to find his entire family had been killed by a local noble. Enraged, Justice left without his circle to seak vengeance. He stormed the castle single-handedly, and would have won, if it handn't been for a Sideral assassin.

As he bled to death on the floor, a figure appeared before him. Offering him the oppertunity at revenge, Justice leaped on it immediately. This was, of course, his exaltation. After a short time to tutoring ended, Justice (now Gate) recieved his first assignment - to go back and kill his former circle. He and group of Abyssals departed the presence of his lord...

...And Gate's next memory is throttling the unlife out of a woman of his abyssal circle. In strange lands, and without any clue about how much time had passed, or the lively-hood of his either of his former circles, Gate is in an odd position. He's without any real identity - both his real name and the name of his new leige are lost to him. He's heard rumors that his family's slayer is now a popular choice at court, but has no way of confirming it.

Until something comes along, Gate has been offering his services as a sell-sword, bodyguard, and ghost hunter. He sleeps in tombs and graveyards, and is constantly on the move to avoid suspicions. Stil, he can't help but feel he's missing something....

=== Character Description ===

Gate is a very tall, very muscular man. He looks something akin to a statue - pale, frowning, and ever-staring. He dresses in his blackened jacket at nearly all times, with a massive shroud wrapped about his shoulders to complete his look of mourning. His blade adorns his back, and is likewise wrapped in it's own shroud when not expecting use. He wears a black, wide-brimmed hat, which he tends to tilt over his face.
