− | This is a Dragon-Blooded charm by [[Cheyinka]], based off the Archery charm Harvest of the Hunter.

− | | |
− | I don't think Solars need a similar charm, since they don't have a charm to create arrows - they have a charm to shoot arrows that are just Essence. :p

− | Exultant Crow Technique
| |
− | Cost: 2 motes
| |
− | Duration: Instant
| |
− | Type: Simple
| |
− | Minimum Thrown: 3
| |
− | Minimum Essence: 2
| |
− | Prerequisite: Seeking Throw Technique
| |
− | | |
− | The character looks down at the ground and finds some appropriate improvised thrown weapons - rocks of just the right size to be thrown, smooth stones for a sling or slingshot, sharp twigs for darts, etc. The number of weapons found is equal to the character's Permanent Essence.
| |
− | | |
− | Alternately, this can be used to find thrown weapons that haven't hit their target, in which case it takes 6 - Perception minutes to gather up Permanent Essence x 2 weapons.
| |
− | | |
− | If the character can't reach the ground (flying, floating on the surface of a really deep river, whatever), the motes are wasted.

− | Hi, welcome to the wiki. Please drop by BestPractices and take a look at our guidelines, as this page should be under DragonBloodedThrown, then at a sub-page of that for [[Cheyinka]]. (So [[DragonBloodedThrown/Cheyinka]]). Other than that, enjoy yourself. On the matter of the Charm itself, it seems a little mundane, even for Terrestrials. - [[Trithne]]

− | :I did read BestPractices first, but I guess I missed that or skipped over it or something. Thanks for the reminder :)
| |
− | :It's kind of mundane, but if you're using a sling or a slingshot, or throwing non-returning chakrams or the like, you might run out of ammunition at the worst possible time. The first part of it lets you nab a little bit of extra ammunition right away - no searching. The second part lets you find thrown weapons in tall grass or snow or something.
