Adventure is a "pulp"-genre game by White Wolf Game Studio, inspired by early sci-fi and dime novel action/horror stories. It fits into the Aeon Trinity timeline at the beginning, when Maxwell Mercer and Michael Damon Donneghal (aka Doctor Primoris, aka Divas Mal) were present at the first demonstration of "telluric energy" (aka "Z-waves," aka Quantum and Psi). Player characters are over-the-top heroes of the roaring 20s and the desolate 30s. The first and second world wars are just outside of the game's scope, though the game could easily be shifted in focus slightly to see fighting against the Huns or the Nazis. As with all White Wolf games, the focus is more on an inner moral consistency than an external "good versus evil" conflict, with the introductory fictions (which take up half the book) often showing the iconic characters regretting that they had to fight against the people they did, conscious of the contributions to humanity that would be lost because of it. | Adventure is a "pulp"-genre game by White Wolf Game Studio, inspired by early sci-fi and dime novel action/horror stories.
