The Infernal Exalts

Being a fifth attempt to devise some kind of intelligible and awesome set of rules for the Infernal Exalted, chosen of the vyle Yozis and foremost among their moste wicked minions.

Enjoi.

The Vile Exaltation

Fifty Solar shards were given to the Yozis by the Neverborn, that the Neverborn might learn the secrets by which they could craft the Abyssal Exalted. Fully one-third of the Deathlord's prize, sacrificed. As the shards were sacrificed, condemned to horrors mortal minds cannot begin to comprehend, so their hosts will sacrifice their humanity and their sanity for the designs of the Yozis. During the Calibration when the Scarlet Empress disappeared, fifty humans were snatched from their places in Creation and in Fate, and their souls were drawn through the labyrinthine barriers of the oaths separating Creation from Malfeas, slowly and agonizingly over a period of months or years. These souls were grafted to the fifty shards, and they were sent back out into the world, jsut as slowly and agonizingly as before, to do the Yozi's work.

|| 1-3 Motes || The Infernal's caste mark throbs on their forehead. It is visible with a (Perception+Awareness) roll at difficulty 1. || || 4-7 Motes || The Infernal's caste mark shines on their forehead, clearly visible through anything placed over it. In fact, anything placed over it will corrode and decay and quickly be rendered useless. They glow with a harsh light equal in brightness to a torch, and all onlookers must make a (Stamina+Resistance) roll for every 5 minutes of looking directly at the Infernal or suffer a -1 external penalty to all actions due to nausea. Vision of all beings within (Essence) yards is severely obscured, and all beings within this radius must also make a (Stamina+Resistance) roll every minute to avoid a -1 external penalty due to nausea. Vegetation withers and dies, and most animals flee. If exposed for 10 minutes to this anima level, all objects not made of a magical material will be rendered useless by the growth of barnacle-like lumps of verdigris, which can be removed with a chisel and some holy water. || || 11-15 Motes || The Infernal's corrupted Essence spills forth from their bodies, flooding their surroundings. All beings within (Essence-2) feet suffer 1 level of lethal damage for every (Essence-1) minutes spent within this radius.||

Infernal Charms

Eclipse Caste Solars and No Moon Lunars may learn Infernal Charms, but they gain a point of Limit for every (Essence) motes spent on them, to a maximum of 5 motes. Infernals of all castes may learn demon Charms at the same cost for Eclipse Castes learning non-Solar Charms.
