Bhalaik may roll Intelligence + Investigation (12 dice) to track such a person as though they had left a clear trail, although he does not gain bonuses to spot them if they are hidden; he only knows their rough location.

Bhalaik, the Entwining Hive, Understanding Soul of Sha, the Everstretching Truth

Bhalaik represents the understanding of Sha that her mission is fruitless, that there are a thousand false paths that must be tread to catch her quarry. As such, he represents the concept of narrowing, removing false trails and destroying those that are proven to be false, so that Sha need not retrace her steps. Bhalaik himself does not fully understand his purpose, however; he knows only that removing those whose purpose could prove harmful later is good.

Sorcerers typically summon Bhalaik when they wish to cover their tracks, or when they wish to uncover the tracks of others. He is excellent at uncovering loose ends, and then at removing them; he can either hold his foes immobile or destroy them, as desired. His nature inclination is towards removal, but he still likes to be sure of himself. Bhalaik may be summoned by a desperate sorcerer on a moonless night, in utter darkness. The summoner must name the problem that he wishes to vanish, and give three drops of blood into a silver chalice. Bhalaik will appear in a gust of foul wind and spend the night ensuring that the problem will not threaten the sorcerer, in exchange for the promise of further sacrifices; however, if he cannot solve the problem before morning, he will kill the summoner to ensure that nothing can affect him again. Then, he will begin travelling, searching for those that Sha has uncovered to destroy. Bhalaik is worshipped by those who have many crimes that they never wish to be revealed.

Bhalaik is a faintly humanoid creature of crimson and yellow skin, with faintly bubbling skin and a jagged mouth that neither smiles nor frowns. Three eyes blink in a perfect pattern, and an endless stream of horrors pulse on his skin, ready to take flight at a moment's notice. These creatures are faintly like small bats with jagged teeth, and a half-dozen of them fly around him at all times.
