| − | Cevis Ghandarva walked to the edge of the eerie lake known only as the Sea of Mind, he always noted that the closer he got to the water itself the quieter the forest around him seemed to be.

| − | Through the silence he could hear whispering voices, some of them from languages now long lost to Creation but sometimes they seemed to recognise him. Did he know them? Or were they echoes and nothing more?

| − | He closed his eyes and listened carefully to the whispers around the lake, it had asked him to come here to the water’s edge. It clearly wished him to perform a task as the leader of his people.

| − | The voices babbled incessantly eventually becoming clearer in his mind until one singular voice remained. It beckoned him to step forth from the water’s edge and into the depths of the Sea of Mind.

| − | It rarely made such requests of its followers, either an entity within wished to converse with the outside or it was hungry for life essence.

| − | Ghandarva was aware of the risks and stepped forward without fear, quickly vanishing beneath its depths as the cold water filled his lungs.

| − | At that exact moment a child was born somewhere much further west, the young mother raised the newborn to her breast and named her child Ghandarva.

| − | That day a seed was planted, a seed to what though?
