This shaping art tells stories of forbidden lusts, of sins too terrible to speak, of secret indiscretions and cruel betrayals. Its Essence patterns are similar to its sister, the Spirit-Twisting Obsession, but subtly different, passive and dark. When a raksha assumes these patterns, it becomes the thing that must not be desired, yet beckons irresistibly, luring its victims to guilt, denial, and eventual self-destruction.

The raksha molds its spirit into a beguiling ambiance, isolated and mysterious, in which sins become harder to resist and temptations seem all the stronger. Increase the difficulty to resist all the raksha’s Cup-Shaping attacks by its permanent Essence.

The first blow is struck. The raksha charges its surroundings with lust and forbidden desire, drawing in its bumbling prey, beating against her judgment and morals, urging her to succumb. This charm supplements a Cup-Shaping attack. It adds the raksha’s Cup in dice to the attack and damage rolls.

The raksha pours Essence into its Cup Grace. It becomes a living symbol of that which must not be desired, under any circumstances, yet calls incessantly. For the duration of the story, to attack the raksha with Cup-Shaping requires Conviction to be channeled. To defend against the raksha with Cup-Shaping requires Temperance to be channeled. This charm cannot force an opponent to channel a virtue more times than [6 minus the opponent’s permanent Essence] per shaping combat.

This is a Stance-type charm. Characters may not have more than one Stance-type charm active at once.

The victim remembers her past indiscretions and desires more, though she denies it vehemently on the surface. She feigns bravery, but her soul trembles. This charm gives the target the option of channeling Valor on any shaping attacks against the charm’s user. Each time she takes advantage of this, the charm’s user may make a Conviction + Larceny roll as a Cup-Shaping action. On a success, one of the user’s shaping weapons, as chosen by the user, deals an extra point of damage for the rest of the story.

The story has reached its conclusion. The victim is helplessly addicted to her forbidden pleasure, having given up morality, companionship, and sanity to sate her cravings. To resist attacking the raksha with Cup-Shaping requires a point of willpower per scene.
