*Dancing Ruby Wings: *her eyes cringe, as if in pain....she lets her hand drop* .....yes....
*Story Teller: "She told me I could not 'have' both of you...though I do not know what she means by that. I don't have either of you."
*Dancing Ruby Wings: *she sighs, running a hand through her hair* So, she wants you to choose...
*Story Teller: He nods. "She does. And all choices are bad, and no choice is worse."
*Story Teller: Elder Violet frowns. "I should probably wait until I am fully healed, Pathian. But then..." He grins widely
*Dancing Ruby Wings: *she cringes again, blinking slowly* and the other problem?
*Pathian: but this way i might have a chance ;-)
*Maylin: The Dragon Kings are dying out my lords and with them the knowledge to make Rathess great again. If you would only agree to meet with them I'm sure some arangement could be made.
*Pathian: how about just enough to gey you limbered up, and then we go for a run

*Pathian: it will be bad for you to not excersize at all
*Story Teller: Elder Violet nods. "Very well...I will need a sword, though...those bastards must have taken my weapons." He pauses. "I wonder why they didn't take Ruby's sword..."
*Story Teller: "The other problem..." Alaethis leans against the wall. "The latest news from the Blessed Isle tells me that the last session of the Deliberative ended in an all out brawl. Two members were killed."
*Endless Chase: *lands at the top of the eastern tower a mere day after his last visit, and changes back into his human form, setting the badfull of things onto the ground, then waits for a greeting*

*Pathian: i will see what i can do *goes to the DK leader, and asks him if i could borrow a sword*
*Dancing Ruby Wings: *blinks....since that wasnt AT ALL what she was expecting*
*Story Teller: "They managed to reconvene again the next day, but the tensions are running very, very high, and the next fight could lead to a civil war."

*Story Teller: "And that would be our chance. Our chance to finally overthrow the Realm."

*Story Teller: Dk Elder: "Yes...of course." He talks to another DK in their language for a moment, and the other leaves and comes back with a sword.
*Story Teller: "Welcome back, Chase-keina."

*Story Teller: "You do not understand," Filial Wisdom says. "The greatness of Rathess is not our concern."
*Endless Chase: I thnak you for the greeting. How do you fare, Relzya-kami?
*Story Teller: "The days are long, and the nights are as they always have been."
*Maylin: Your concern is bringing everything down so that you can rebuild it, yet?
*Story Teller: Alaethis nods. "We have waited on the edge of Creation for centuries. Now, we will strike, and I don't know how many of us will survive."
*Dancing Ruby Wings: *she grits her teeth, glancing away at the wall*
*Maylin: ((*bangs head*stupidstupidstupid))
*Zenleigha: *speaks in a low tone, as she leans to Sith* Sith-san, how is it that you tame the mad-ones?
*Endless Chase: Would you care to pass a bit of this day in conversation?
*Story Teller: Filial Wisdom shakes his head. "The rebuilding is not our concern either. It will occur, in the end. We need to bring about the conditions to make it possible."
*Story Teller: "You have had your dreams, Ruby-chan. You have seen the power of the Dragon Blooded Host assembled." He grins, baring his fangs. "But we have to try. Even a dying wolf will growl at his opponent, and we are far indeed from death

*Zenleigha: Well, how exactly do you bring them from the madness
*Endless Chase: I have, once again, more questions that I would like to ask you. So much is new to me in this world, and I wish to understand more.

*Dancing Ruby Wings: *she shakes her head* I know all of that....I don't care....*she pauses for a moment*...I'll wait forever if I have to....

*Maylin: You serve Han-Tha but he did not make you. You do not owe allegance to him

*Story Teller: Han Tha gurgles. "What makes a sword great--the hand that forges it, or the hand that wields it?"

*Dancing Ruby Wings: *she purses her lips* Until you've figured out what it is you want...i don't think it would be wise to discuss this with her....I don't want to fight with her...
*Story Teller: "Nor is one that remains on a wall."

*Maylin: It is there, just because it is not being used at the moment does not mean it won't be, or that it can't be

*Story Teller: "Has he spoken to you, Maylin? Has he aided you personally? Why are you so eager to be his slave?"

*Story Teller: Elder Violet also falls into a guard position, and BATTLE IS JOINED
*Maylin: But I will end all discussions of peace if Han-Tha can do the same thing that the Unconquered Sun can. Exalt one of his servants *gestures to the rabble around them*
*Dancing Ruby Wings: *she sighs* But if you don't...I can't change your mind....or your heart....

*Maylin: Surely someone here has proven they are willing to serve you as your own Exalted.
*Dancing Ruby Wings: *she slides a hand down the side of his face* No matter what, I will stand behind you decision....I'm not sure I even deserve you after all that's happened....*she takes her hand back she is silent*

*Story Teller: Alaethis catches her hand as it drops. "Do not undervalue yourself, Ruby-chan."
*Story Teller: Han-Tha gurgles again. "The shards were made by Autochthon. The oh-so-mighty Unconquered Sun had nothing do to with their creation."
*Maylin: their creation perhaps not, but as we've proven with the sword example, the creator is only a part
*Maylin: It was Luna and the Unconquered Sun who used those Shards.
*Story Teller: "The quill will never run dry of ink, and the nub will never be injured."
*Story Teller: Alaethis lets the hand drop as well. "I will have to think on this...but Maylin called me here. Where is she?"
*Dancing Ruby Wings: *she shrugs* I'm not sure...you can go ask Saijin, her familiar....he probably knows...
*Story Teller: HT: "And this sword he has left by the wayside. I picked it up."
*Story Teller: Alaethis. "I will have to." His mouth sets. "I need to go find her, considering how much trouble she has gotten herself into."
*Zenleigha: *bows to sith* if you will excuse me, i have some things to attend to. Like a certain patient... that might be up and about who shouldn't be *goes and looks for EV*

*Maylin: Then I suppose I have been sent to ask for its return. There is a more powerful hand that wishes to weild it

*Pathian: *has improved his skills greatly since the last spar with EV, and is hopefully at least not getting hit all that often*
*Endless Chase: *begins testing the spiffy quill*
*Dancing Ruby Wings: *she sighs, fighting back the wetness that invades her eyes before she turns and walks into the darkness of the alleyway, letting her thoughs guide her*

*Maylin: *looks at Filial* I don't know what he said to convince you to follow him, but do you truly believe in his strength now?
*Zenleigha: *Smiles, kind of smirking but not in an arrogant way* I do not wish to see you that way again
*Zenleigha: So I would appriciate it if you helped me help you
*Pathian: *while no one is watching pathian slips off to once again try to find foam*
*Endless Chase: Well, perhaps I can find out more from another friend of mine.

*Story Teller: Elder Violet lies down and puts his arms behind his head.
*Story Teller: Filial Wisdom stares at Maylin. "Then he is no better than a sailor who abandons his children."
*Zenleigha: I'm sorry.. I was so.. forcefull.. *shyly looks at the ground and holds her hands behind her back*
*Maylin: *hides the flinch at abadoning children* and what has Han-Tha done for you?

*Story Teller: Filial Wisdom frowns. "I changed on the Blessed Isle, and left one step ahead of the Dragon Blooded. I came here because it was far, far away from them."
*Story Teller: The owl blurs into another cat and begins following.
*Maylin: *leads him to the central pyrimad. "She's in there. May I go back to my nap now? If I don't get enough sleep I won't have energy for sleeping tonight."*
*Zenleigha: Oh, well that's quite a request... I'm not sure I know as much as I would like to know on the subject. ..

*Maylin: I changed during a barbarian raid. I've spoken with Dragon-Blooded, I know how to live with them. I can show you how.

*Maylin: *lets her head drop into her hand* Lunars...

*Endless Chase: *after a short cat-cat nap, EC gets up and fiddles woth the box and rings*

*Maylin: *smiles and stands, facing him* thank you my lord. I will arrange it all for you *bows and turns to go, her smile gone the moment her back is turned from him*
*Endless Chase: *Slips one of the rings on a finger that it more or less fits on*
*Maylin: *is roaring with laughter when his mistress comes out of the pyrimad.*
*Story Teller: You are now wearing...a ring
*Zenleigha: *reaching the hot pools, she strips down in the doorway, leaving her clothes in a pile on the soft magical grass, as she steps softly towards a pool*
*Story Teller: Those pools look really nice right about now...
*Story Teller: Alaethis looks up at Maylin. "Results?"
*Maylin: *walks past Aleathis, not looking at him, holding her elbows, head slightly bowed*
*Zenleigha: *she smiles, slipping a toe into the water, as it slinks down onto a stone step, and her other foot follows as she eases into the water*
*Story Teller: Sith enters the bathing room, looking at Zen curiously.
*Endless Chase: *Fiddles with the box*
*Zenleigha: *She turns*
*Zenleigha: Yes?
*Zenleigha: *continues to step down into the water*
*Story Teller: "I had wondered what those were for," Sith says. "None of us found them comfortable."
*Zenleigha: *Smiles* Oh? that's a shame. The water is wonderful
*Story Teller: "There are some mud pits in the lower levels that are very comfortable," Sith continues. "Perhaps you should try them. I would be happy to lead you there."
*Story Teller: Alaethis looks at Sayjin, then back at Maylin, but says nothing.
*Maylin: *goes down the steps, tears trickling from her eyes by the time she's at the bottom*
*Story Teller: The box is...a box. As near as you can tell, nothing but a box
*Zenleigha: *grins* perhaps, but not today. My skin requires clear hot water
*Zenleigha: *lifts her hands, splashing some on her shoulders*
*Maylin: *"She's feeling sorry for herself again." he sighs and slinks after her.*
*Endless Chase: Well, at least it will hold all of this other...stuff.
*Story Teller: "It dries us out...though there are Mad Ones in the waters to the south-west of here. Like us, but not."

*Zenleigha: *silently wonders where the rest of her companions are at and what they are up to*
*Endless Chase: *Pust the rings, little cube, quill, and after a second thought, his diary.

*Story Teller: Alaethis frowns, and he follows Sayjin in a cat form

*Story Teller: He looks at Maylin.
*Endless Chase: *scrubs his long hair out, trying to get rid of the grunge*

*Maylin: He might even be convinced to leave, letting you and your kind have Rathess once again.
*Endless Chase: Don't be bashful, Zenleigha, we've done more than seen each other before, and we've moved past it.

*Story Teller: The DK Elder makes a complex sign with his hands. "I shall."

*Zenleigha: *lets go, swiming back up, laughing with mirth*
*Maylin: How long will you require to prepare?
*Zenleigha: *grings wickedly*
*Maylin: ((and the underwater make-out scene begins...))
*Endless Chase: *Does a dead man's float on his stomach, arms and legs drifting lazily*
*Story Teller: "I will be ready at the next rising of the sun."

*Maylin: Forgive me, my lord, but Filial might percieve that as an ambush. Perhaps the docks, just outside the city, would be a better choice?
*Zenleigha: *pushes off the wall to shake him with her arm*
*Story Teller: ((the docks are a good few days away))

*Maylin: *nods* very well, here it is. *bows to him before turning to make her way back to the pyrimad to inform Filial of the meeting time and place*

*Endless Chase: *Changes into his totem form, and procedes to tickle her with eight legs*

*Story Teller: The cat walks up to the edge of the pool and looks down at the water
*Pathian: *bursts into the pool room and lays foam down beside zen*

*Zenleigha: *turns startled, standing up in the water,*

*Pathian: its foam
*Endless Chase: *Stops the assault*

*Pathian: i found him near the western tower
*Zenleigha: what happend? do you know?
*Endless Chase: The hell happened to him now?
*Story Teller: It is, indeed, Foam. Gravely injured, his wounds seeping blue-white blood
*Zenleigha: *touches her hands together, glows, and touches foam*
*Pathian: no idea what happened to him, i found him like this
*Zenleigha: *scrub, rinse, repeat*

*Endless Chase: *Runs his finger in some of the blood, and brings it to his tongue, seeing what the blood of the Fair Folk tastes like*

*Zenleigha: Oh fine, drags his near weightless body towards the natural sponges that grow there, picking one as she dips it in the water and begins to scrub his bakc clean*
*Story Teller: The cat looks at Sayjin. "I should jump in just for you."
*Story Teller: Foam coughs. "Put me down!"
*Zenleigha: Thank you Pathian, you should come bathe too. The water's nice *she smiles*

*Story Teller: Foam wades over and takes the sponge from her.

*Maylin: *leaves quickly*
*Story Teller: The other cat follows, though Zen does see it turn back and wink at her before walking out
*Zenleigha: *wrinkles her brow for a moment*

*Story Teller: ((They're some sort of flying machine))
*Endless Chase: *he walks back to the mouth of the tower, and sits, still naked, staring at the sky*
*Pathian: *pokes and prods at them some more*
*Story Teller: In Pathian's mind, a voice forms. "Did you want something, Chosen of the Sun?"
*Pathian: gahhhhh!
*Pathian: whose there?
*Story Teller: Foam continues to wash Zen's back. It's nice
*Story Teller: "I am Relzya."
*Zenleigha: *smiles warmly* Thank you, Foam
*Zenleigha: Are you feeling better?
*Story Teller: "You're welcome, Zen. And yes, I am--thank you."
*Story Teller: "I found what I was looking for."
*Zenleigha: And what was that?

*Maylin: *sighs and goes to check on his mistress*

*Story Teller: Endless Chase sits, and broods...and sees someone very...familiar wandering the streets
*Zenleigha: Considering the shape you were found in, I hope he was worse off
*Zenleigha: ((dun dun duhhhhhh))
*Endless Chase: *looks up, getting a better view of who is near him*
*Story Teller: Foam: "Unfortnately...not."
*Zenleigha: *frowns*
*Story Teller: Foam: "I had expected him to be alone. I was wrong."
*Maylin: *"Good because I need to eat and so do you so march" grabs her and drags her outside by the sleeve*
*Zenleigha: What kind of score did you have to settle with him?
*Story Teller: "Games from long ago."
*Zenleigha: *nods* is he exiled like you >
*Zenleigha: ?
*Story Teller: "No. He left of his own accord."
*Zenleigha: *nods*
*Maylin: *"wait here and don't go away." heads off into the jungle to hunt*
*Story Teller: The figure doesn't seem to be wandering with any clear purpose. He's hard to make out in the half-light of evening, and he doesn't really have any colors...just black and white.
*Maylin: Why? I wanted to sleep! Damnit *does as he says, sitting in the doorway of a building across from the tower*
*Endless Chase: *Tugs on his clothes, and walks down to see who is wandering around*
*Pathian: ummmm... hello?
*Story Teller: There is a brief laughter inside Pathian's mind. "Patience, Prince of the Earth, patience. I will still be here long years from now."
*Story Teller: "For a purpose. I guard these against that time."
*Pathian: to whome do they belong?
*Pathian: (whom?)
*Story Teller: "They were made by the Dragon Kings and the Solars."
*Zenleigha: ((whom))
*Story Teller: As the figure draws closer, it becomes more distinct...
*Zenleigha: ((10 bucks says its alabaster chimes))
*Pathian: to whom to you wait for?
*Story Teller: ...and it is, indeed, Alabaster Chimes
*Maylin: *scowls at the figure, standing slowly*
*Zenleigha: ((i win!))
*Story Teller: "The return of this city's greatness."
*Endless Chase: Ahh, found us at last, I see.
*Maylin: *gasps and steps into the shadows, suddenly shy*
*Story Teller: "I came as quickly as I could," Alabaster replies.
*Endless Chase: Negotiations took that long?
*Story Teller: "There are no Shadowlands nearby. I had to travel a long way overland."
*Story Teller: "And yes. They did."
*Endless Chase: Well, *extends a hand* welcome to Rathess.
*Pathian: and this bird... what is it?
*Maylin: *watches them, holding her lower lip in her teeth*
*Zenleigha: *turns around to Foam, smiling* Thank you, I appreciate your kindness
*Story Teller: Alabaster Chimes looks at the hand, then--tentatively--shakes it
*Story Teller: Foam smiles. "Of course. It was the least I could do."
*Story Teller: "That is what you say, is it not?"
*Zenleigha: *nods* yes, it is
*Story Teller: "A warbird."
*Pathian: (ROMULINS!)
*Pathian: ah... and how does it work?
*Endless Chase: The others are around, somewhere.
*Story Teller: AC: "Ah, good"
*Endless Chase: We are staying with the Dragon Kings that still live within the city gates.
*Story Teller: Alabaster Chimes raises an eyebrow
*Story Teller: "The controls are there."
*Story Teller: "But do not touch it."
*Maylin: *her body is half exposed from the doorway, and the moon is probably giving her away via her blonde hair*
*Endless Chase: If you wish I will try to find their leader and bring him to you.
*Story Teller: Foam gets out of the pool and pulls on his clothes.
*Pathian: *goes and looks at the controls (but does not touch)*
*Story Teller: AC: "That's...not necessary."
*Endless Chase: They are...wary...of new people, and they much prefer it if they meet outside of their home.
*Story Teller: The controls are pretty complex. A series of levels and panels, with small writing in the complex pictographs of the Dragon Kings
*Pathian: *eep*
*Pathian: (brb)
*Story Teller: AC: "I didn't come here to see the Dragon Kings."
*Pathian: *studys the controls*
*Maylin: *holds her breath to hear him*
