Before the Primordial War, before the Gods had begun to contemplate rebellion against their Creators, the great Ligier crafted wonders upon the Sun Tempest Forge.  By the might of Malfeas was the honor and power of the first forge of their great world made and used by his Fetich.  Though it rankled at Autocthon to have such a wonder and opportunity denied him he could do nothing about it.  When the forge became less used and half forgotten by that same soul so that he could work at forging works of great mechanical artifice and it languished unused the Great Maker chocked back his anger yet again.  At least he could do nothing until the Exalted were made.  In the early days of the Primordial War one of the Chosen of Secrets did infiltrate and steal the Sun Tempest Forge.  Several powerful and early weapons were wrought on it by the hands of the Twilights and No Moons before one of the strange temporal weapons used to ensure that the Primordials could not simply go back before the rebellion and destroy the traitors caused the Sun Tempest Forge to become lost through time.  

The Sun Tempest Forge takes the form of a massive anvil the height of a tall man.  This ancient wonder of rarified obsidian and bronze bears the gift of invention inside it.  One need simply place the materials to be worked upon its top and strike with hammer or fist and will.  Made before the rules of artifice were laid down for the inhabitants of Creation those things are all that is needed to produce things in defiance of any natural law.  Mechanically speaking the forge grants its user a bonus of 5 successes on any Craft Elemental roll.  Furthermore when working on the forge to produce artifacts, but not works of magitech or genesis, count whatever artifact is being made as if it were one dot lower for purposes of difficulties, unique components, and such rolls.  One dot artifacts require simply the one unique component and 8 hours spent on the forge which charms can not reduce to successfully make it.  These bonuses do not help with the design of artifacts merely the creation and can never reduce the time taken to forge them to less than 8 hours.
